Panasonic Eluga I4 Offers 3000 mAH Battery, 4G Volte and ARBO

Panasonic has launched many new smartphones in this year, and recently they have added a new phone to the portfolio – Eluga I4.

After the successful release of Eluga A3 and A3 Pro, the new budget mobile Eluga I4 comes at a price tag of Rs 8,290. The all new I4 follows the same ideology of its predecessors. The same design language with some tweaks and also has their in-house AI, Assistant Arbo.

The smartphone comes with a metallic finish polycarbonate back cover.

Also, it has an 8 MP sensor with LED flash residing at the top left corner.

The chrome antenna lines are running across the top and bottom side of the phone.

The front looks gorgeous with its 2.5D curved glass and dedication home button which comes with a fingerprint sensor.

Panasonic Eluga I4 Launched in Indian Market Price 8299

The I4 sports a 5 inch HD (1280X720) IPS LCD display. It’s powered by tried and tested MediaTek MT6737 SOC paired with 2GB of RAM.

The processor is weak compared to the other Snapdragon counterparts used in rival phones like Yu Yureka black, Redmi 4. In the similar price range, you can find many phones with superior processing power.

Additionally, the phone comes with 16 GB of internal storage which can, fortunately, be expanded up to 128 GB. The mobile runs on the Android Nougat 7.1 Os along with the custom Panasonic UI and personal virtual Assistant ARBO.

It’s 2017, the inclusion of 4G/VoLTE is somewhat of a given, and Panasonic hasn’t skipped on that as well.

Powering the phone is a sizeable 3000mAh battery although, it retains the old micro USB port for charging. At the same time, it’d be too much to ask for a USB type-C port in this price range.

On the brighter side; the phone does support OTG, so all you heavy users out there can easily mount a pen drive and transfer videos/movies on the go.

Also, It’s already available from the authorized offline stores and Panasonic brand stores. The phone is available in 3 colors: Blue, Black, and Gold for a price tag of Rs 8,920.

The entry-level segment has started to see fierce competition off lately.

The Eluga I4 is going to face competition directly from Redmi 4, Redmi 4A, Yureka Black & Lenovo K6 Power. Panasonic has been struggling in expanding the market share and launching too many average models may not solve it.

The Eluga I4 is an average Joe from Panasonic, and will also have the same fate as most phones from the brand. There are a lot of good options in the 8k price range which can read here.

Companies will have to be more decisive when launching new phones, so they offer something extra in the price range, else they are all me too product.
