The Panasonic Eluga Turbo competes with Lenovo K4 Note. Lenovo K4 Note was launched 5th Jan.2016 and it is priced at Rs 11,999.
If you want to buy K4 Note, you can register K4 Note on Amazon. (Read Full Review Lenovo K4 Note.)
Eluga Turbo sports 5-inch display with 1280 x 720p resolution and K4 Note has a 5.5-inch display with a resolution of 1920 x 1080p.
Eluga Turbo and K4 Note both features hardened glass protection (Corning Gorilla Glass 3 on K4 Note while the Eluga turbo has Asahi Dragon Trail Glass). But on the rear side of the smartphone, Eluga Turbo DragonTrail Glass while K4 Note has a poly-plastic body.
Eluga Turbo is available in many colors i.e. Marine Blue, Champagne Gold and Rose Gold but K4 Note is only available in Black Color.
K4 Note has a thickness of 9.10 mm and Eluga Turbo has a thickness of 6.95 mm.
The Lenovo K4 Note offers a fast Fingerprint sensor while there is no fingerprint scanner on the Panasonic Eluga Turbo. There is Dual Front stereo Dolby speakers on the Lenovo K4 Note which offers great sound output.
Eluga turbo is a lot thinner and lighter when compared to the Lenovo K4 Note.
On one side, the Eluga Turbo is powered by 1.5 GHz Octa-Core 64-bit processor Mediatek 6753. The processor is accompanied by the ARM Mali™-T720 GPU
The Panasonic Eluga Turbo comes with 3 GB RAM.
On the other side, the Lenovo K4 Note also has Octa-Core MediaTek MT6753 processor though clocked a little lower at 1.3 GHz and it also offers 3 GB RAM. The core clock speed is higher on the Eluga Turbo.
Performance wise the Mediatek 6753 is not able to handle gaming well on the Full HD display of the Lenovo K4 Note but it will be better on the Panasonic Eluga Turbo with HD Display. More the pixels more work is required by the GPU and processor to render graphics.
If we consider only Gaming than the Panasonic Eluga Turbo will offer better performance.
Eluga Turbo offers 32 GB internal storage while K4 Note offers 16 GB internal storage. Eluga Turbo offers expandable storage of 32 GB micro-SD card and K4 Note offers expandable storage of 128 GB micro- SD card.
Both the smartphones have 13 MP Rear Camera and 5 MP front camera for taking selfies. Both the smartphones allow you to capture 1080P 30 FPS videos. There is not much between the two devices as far as the camera is concerned.
Both the mobiles run Android 5.1 Lollipop. But the Android skin is different; Eluga Turbo has FitHome UI while K4 Note has Vibe UI. Both the UI are good and comes with many pre-installed Apps some of which you can easily remove from the Application manager.
Eluga Turbo and K4 Note have 4G LTE support. K4 Note also has NFC support while Eluga Turbo doesn’t support NFC. I don’t think it is a major factor, not too many people are using NFC. But it can be handy if you want to use it with your DSLR camera, that is the only time I switch on the NFC function on my smartphone or may be connecting to an external NFC enabled speaker.
Eluga Turbo packs 2350 mAh battery capacity while K4 Note comes with 3300 mAh battery capacity. This is one major factor for buying the K4 Note battery is almost 30% more when compared to the Panasonic Eluga Turbo.
Both the mobiles are rich in features and have their own strengths. The Panasonic Elgua Turbo is a better smartphone for gaming and also is thinner and lighter, offers more storage. If you are looking for a gaming smartphone and want to spend Rs. 1,000 less can opt for the Panasonic Eluga Turbo.
The Lenovo K4 Note comes with a great Full HD display, good camera, long battery life, much better sound from speakers and headphones, NFC support.
If I can ignore the little advantage in gaming for the Panasonic Eluga Turbo I would prefer the Lenovo K4 Note.
