TechRax a popular youtuber posted a video “Secret Hack To Get Headphone Jack on the iPhone 7” in which he fixes the iPhone 7 between clamps and drills a hole at the bottom to get the older 3.5 mm earphone jack working. The video so far has got 11 million views and has even made it major news channels.
Apple recently launched the iPhone 7 and a lot of Apple fans are pissed off due to missing 3.5 mm headphone jack and while Apple is trying to sell the wireless Airpods which cost $159 with the new iPhone 7. Otherwise you can use the new lighting port earphones with it.
The video is shot in a way to seem like a legit solution to get the iPhone 7 working with a 3.5 mm jack. The video looks convincing and he even plays a sound after drilling the hole in the iPhone 7.
The display flickers when the smartphone is held between the clamps and TechRax calls it perfectly normal and not to be worried by this.

After the drilling is done he plugs in the 3.5 mm jack earphones and plays the music, to utter surprise the iPhone 7 is still working though the sound comes from the speaker.
