Jan 2015, India – Preview LG G Flex 2 Curvy and Sexy Niche Smartphone : LG unveiled its second flexible gorgeous looking smartphone “G flex 2” previously LG G flex was the first phone with curved flexible design , now LG unveiled another flexible smartphone to its “G flex ” series at CES 2015. If looks could Kill than LG G2 Flex can top the smartphones list. The new smartphone has the right curves and will appeal to a niche of buyers who are looking for a not so common premium cool looking smartphone.
LG G Flex 2 is a great improvement over the previous generation of LG G Flex, the new G FLex 2 is smaller in size compared to the 6 inch older model, second major issue was the poor resolution of 1280*720 in the world where smartphones are pushing to get the 2K screen resolution. The new LG G Flex2 has a 5.5 inch screen with 1920* 1080 resolution.
The G flex 2 has a curved flexible design that can bends unto 23 degree angle, but it doesn’t break like an iPhone 6 ,LG also added a “self healing” design to the back made up of a special polymer in which the phone heals itself from scratches in seconds,Which is far more better than all current generation material built. Lg has made improvements to the Gorilla glass 3 by adding a special chemical and making it 20% stronger. Lg calls it the Dura Glass Guard which provides enhanced protection at the edges to make it break free. The Korean company has reduced the curvature of teh smartphone from an aggressive bend to mild contour.
In the demonstration LG spokes man even sat on the phone and still it had no effect. The smartphone is rugged and can be of special use for people who work out side and need a sturdy companion. The G flex 2 contours and adapts it shape when a person is calling. Its tough design really withstands several stress test situations which a normal design fails to do.
It features a 5.5 inch Full HD Polymer-OLED display having 1980*1080 pixels resolution (and 403ppi density) with a flexible screen upto 20 percent tougher than the earlier generation of smartphone
The smartphone has pre- loaded Android Lollipop which is very intuitive. The material design of Lollipop add value to the distinguish innovative G Flex 2.
LG G flex 2 comes equipped with a 64-bit Qualcomm snapdragon 810 processor, Adreno 430 GPU, 2GB /3GB DDR4 RAM , 16 and 32 GB internal memory , with micro SD support to expand the storage upto 128 GB.
The G flex 2 comes with a 13 MP rear camera with laser Auto focus which is great for capturing fast moving objects, the front camera is 2.0MP which is not so great in the selfie obsessed world .
The G flex2 is powered by a flexible 3000 maH battery , with fast charging it was claimed to charge 50 percent in just 40 mins

The Lg G Flex 2 is neither made nor will be in a price range where normal middle class people will be able to buy it. It is a niche product and is expected to be even more expensive then the Apple iPhone 6. The cost in India may be around Rs. 70,000 when it gets launched likely in the month of Feb 2015 as it will hit the shelves in Korean market in Jan end. The smartphone is good looking and packs all the necessary features like 4G, excellent processing power good screen, Camera and Android Lollipop.
