Realme C25_Y – Specs, Price, Pros, and Cons

The Realme C25_Y is a pretty odd name for a smartphone, probably the weirdest name that I have ever come across. It is a budget-friendly smartphone that doesn’t sacrifice quality or performance.

For starters, it has a large 6.5-inch HD+ (1600*720 pixels) display, so you can enjoy your favorite movies and games in stunning detail.

For photography, the smartphone comes with a triple camera setup that includes a 50 MP AI Camera, 2 MP B&W Lens, and 2 MP Macro Lens.

You can capture decent quality images with the camera and it further comes with features such as HDR, panoramic view, portrait, timelapse, expert, and super night mode for even more creative possibilities.

And with the 8 MP front camera, you can take amazing selfies that can boost your social media game. To enhance the security, we have got a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner for quick unlocking. The mobile runs on Android 11 along with the Realme UI.

Lastly, the device comes with a huge 5000 mAH capacity battery and has 18 Watts Fast Charging support.

The Realme C25_Y comes with a price tag of Rs. 10,999 for the 4 GBR am and 64 GB Storage version and is available for purchase on Flipkart.

PROS

  • Decent Performance
  • Large 5000 mAH Battery and fast charging support.
  • 50 MP camera can click good photos.

CONS

  • Avg Plastic Build Quality.
  • Secondary 2 MP cameras are not so useful.

Recommendation – The Realme C25_Y despite its odd name offers good specs for the price. The smartphone has good battery life, display, performance, and primary camera. However, it has an average build quality and the front cameras are also not great. If you are looking for a daily driver to play casual games and do daily tasks, can consider it.

Note* – There is Realme C25Y also available on Flipkart that comes with the UniSoc T610 processor instead of the UniSoc T618 on the Realme C25_Y. That’s the only difference between Realme C25_Y and C25Y. The Realme C25 Y is also available for Rs. 10,990.

Realme has also introduced the premium Realme GT Neo 3 and GT 2 smartphones in the Indian market recently.

The C21Y has a 13 MP + 2MP + 2MP triple rear camera setup and a 5 MP front camera for selfies and video calling.

The cameras on this phone are a downgrade if we compare them to the Realme C25_Y which offers a 50 MP primary camera and an 8 MP Selfie shooter.

The device has a 5000 mAH battery capacity with 10 Watts charging speed, to ensure that you can use it all day without facing any issues.

Lastly, it is a bit bulky as it has a thickness of 9.1 mm and weighs 200 grams.
