Difference between Indian Redmi Note 7 Pro India and Chinese Version (Redmi Note 7)
Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 (India) is more affordable and costs Rs. 10000 (for base version) and 12,999 for the higher version. Also, the Indian model of the Redmi Note 7 Pro and Note 7 are different in comparison to the Chinese Redmi Note 7.
In India company has launched 2 phones but in China, they launched only the Redmi Note 7. The Redmi Note 7 in China came with SD 660 and 48 MP (Samsung GM1 sensor) primary camera.
In India, for Redmi Note 7 Pro Xiaomi has used the Sony IMX 586, 48 MP main rear camera which is better than the Samsung version. Also, the Note 7 Pro gets a faster SD 675 Processor.
On the other hand, the Note 7 (India) comes with SD 660 and has a 13 Megapixel primary rear camera.

Price, Variants, and Availability of Redmi Note 7 Pro
The Redmi Note 7 Pro comes in two variants:
- Price Rs. 13,999 for the 4GB Ram and 64 GB storage.
- Price Rs. 16,999 for the 6 GB Ram and the 128 GB Storage.
Both the models will go on sale in India on 13th March, 12 PM on Flipkart and Mi Stores, Mi Website. Further, the phone is available in 3 colors – Neptune Blue, Nebula Red and Space Black. I think both the blue and red version with two-tone design look dope.
Key Specs for the Redmi Note 7 Pro
Notably, the Pro comes with the 48-megapixel rear camera, and uses the Sony IMX586 sensor, instead of the Samsung GM1 Sensor used in Note 7 (Chinese version).
The biggest upgrade for the Redmi Note 7 Pro is the processor. Powering it is the latest Snapdragon 675 Octa-Core chipset from Qualcomm.
The 64 Bit Processor is based on 11 Nm manufacturing process and comes with Kryo 460 Cores with up to 2.0 GHz clock Speed.
Also, there is the latest Adreno 612 GPU which is much faster than the Adreno 512 GPU used in the Redmi Note 7.
The Note 7 Pro is a real beast for gaming and one of the first mid-range phones to offer the SD 675. Notably, the Snapdragon 675 scores close to 180,000 on the Antutu benchmark which is significantly higher than the Snapdragon 660 or the SD 636.
The design looks sleek and the phone comes with a glass back cover.
The front and the rear side are protected by the Corning Gorilla Glass 5. So you don’t need to worry about the stupid bend test or such fake propaganda by some of the Youtuber.

The Note 7 Pro comes with a 6.3 Inch IPS LCD FHD+ Display panel with 19.5:9 aspect ratio.

The phone has a water drop notch that houses the front camera. There is also support for the face unlocking feature.
The fingerprint reader is present at the back of the device.
The phone comes with the MIUI 10 along with the latest Android Pie OS.

Notably, there is no Quick Charger provided by Xiaomi with the more affordable Redmi Note 7.

Sadly, the phone comes with a hybrid sim tray design but has support for Dual VOLTE.

Xiaomi is the market leader in India and yet again they have launched phones which are class leading.
Undoubtedly, the Note 7 and Note 7 Pro raise the bar for the competition and are the phones to beat in the first half of 2019.
If you are planning to buy a phone in the 15k range, you are spoilt for choices now.
The Note 7 Pro ticks all the boxes for a daily driver, a superb camera, battery and even the best gaming phone in the price range.
There is not really much to complain about, apart from the Ads in the MIUI.
