Dual cameras are making news and lot of high-end and mid-range mobiles have been using the technology to enhance the imaging.
Samsung has no Dual Camera smartphone, neither for mid-range buyers nor for the top end users. Though Samsung is expected to launch a new Samsung C10 smartphone in a couple of weeks which can change all that. We also recently wrote about the Samsung Galaxy Note 8, which also rumoured to come with the Dual rear camera.
Huawei has been a pioneer of the Dual camera smartphones with it’s Huawei P8 and Honor 8 it changed the game for the smartphone photography. Apple was late to catch on the trend but did great with the iPhone 7 plus which uses a Zoom lens and a telephoto lens.
LG also embraced the Dual camera smartphones for the Flagship LG V20 and recently for the LG G6. We wrote a detailed article about the Best Dual camera smartphones a while back. But this is exciting as Samsung is also finally biting the bullet and is expected to launch the Samsung C10 with Dual rear cameras.
As per a leaked render on the mysterious Chinese social media, the new C10 seems to have near the bezel-less display and a Dual rear camera setup. Both the cameras are aligned vertically and there is a Dual LED Flash below it.
The smartphone comes with a home button which looks very similar to the Samsung S8 or S8+. There is also no fingerprint scanner at the back, it can use a fingerprint scanner below the display like we have seen in the Xiaomi Mi5s. Notably, the Xiaomi Mi5s came with an ultrasonic fingerprint scanner placed below the display.
Though the image is a concept render it is not the actual image for the device but final product could look similar to the render.
The Samsung C10 belong to the C series of Samsung Smartphones, recently Samsung launched the Samsung C9 Pro in India. Samsung is also expected to launch the Samsung C10 Pro along with the Samsung C10. The smartphones are codenamed as SM-C9150/SM-C9158.
The Samsung C10 and C10 Pro can be powered by the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor which is due to be released on 9th May 2017. The new processor comes with Cortex A73 cores clocked at 2.3 GHz and is expected to be manufactured by the 14 Nm process similar to the Snapdragon 625.
The Samsung C10 will come with the Android Nougat 7.0 along with touch Wiz. It can also feature the latest Samsung Assistant Bixby. That’s all the details available for the Samsung C10 so far, we will update as more news flow from the wild… east (China).
