Samsung has launched the successor to the Galaxy A52, the Galaxy A53 (5G),, in India on 21 March 2022.

It will soon go on sale online as well as offline. The base version with 6 G.B. ram and 128 GB storage is available for Rs. 34,499, whereas the 8 G.B. / 128GB variant costs Rs. 35,999.

You can buy the smartphone with a special discount of upto Rs 3000 using the ICICI credit card and can also avail interest-free EMI option. The smartphone is available in Blue, black, white, and peach color options.

The Samsung Galaxy A53 (5G) offers an IP67 rating (water and dustproof) that is hard to find in other brands in this price range.

Another highlight is the presence of the latest Google Os Android 12 and the Samsung One UI 4.1 that the company ships with high-end devices. The software experience on Samsung phones has improved significantly in the past few years, and the company offers longer updates and security patches.

The smartphone comes with a 6.5 inches Full HD+ (2400*1080) Infinity-O Amoled display with a punch-hole camera and a 120 Hz refresh rate. Besides, there is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 to protect the display.

Powering the Galaxy A53 (5G) is the new Exynos 1280 Octa-Core processor and up to 8 GB Ram. The Exynos 1280 is built on the 5 nm manufacturing process, has a 2.4 GHz max clock speed, and comes with an Arm Mali-G68 GPU. The Galaxy A53 (5G) has a GeekBench Single-Core Score – of 690 and a Multi-Core Score of 1846.

Cameras

The Galaxy A53 (5G) comes with Quad-rear cameras that include a 64 M.P. primary camera with an f/1.8 aperture lens, 12 MP (f/2.2 aperture) ultra-wide shooter, 5 M.P. depth, and 5 M.P. macro-shooter. Also, for clicking detailed selfies, it comes with a 32 M.P. camera with an f/2.2 aperture.

One of the highlight features of the camera is the presence of OIS for recording stable videos and shooting better images in low-light conditions. Additionally, there are A.I. image enhancement features, portrait mode, and 4K video recording support.

Battery Life – The phone has a 5000 mAH capacity battery that can easily last 1.5 days with typical usage and comes with a 25 Watts Fast Charging support. It has 5G, 4G, WIFI, Bluetooth 5.1, and USB Type-C port support.

There is also Samsung Knox (for added security), which comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner.

Lastly, there is Dolby Atmos Support for a superior Audio experience.

Verdict – The Samsung Galaxy A53 (5G) has a lot of positives, such as cameras, an IP67 Rating, a large battery, the latest O.S., and a gorgeous display. The Exynos 1280 is a decent processor, but you may find several phones with SD 870 or Dimensity 1200 that may perform better than the Galaxy A53 in Gaming and intensive tasks. However, the processor is on par with SD 765G or Dimensity 900.

As per leaked images, the Galaxy A73 will have a similar design as the Samsung Galaxy A72.

It will be an AMOLED FHD+ display with a center punch hole notch, and it may offer up to a 120Hz refresh rate.

Further, the Galaxy A73 will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 750G processor, and will also have 5G network connectivity.

The Samsung Galaxy A73 release date is not confirmed yet, but it will debut in the second quarter of 2022.

Samsung Galaxy A33 (5G)

Samsung Galaxy A33 (5G) is a mid-range smartphone that the company can launch in March 2022. The smartphone will launch along with the Galaxy A53 and the Galaxy A73.

The smartphone can come with a 6.4-inch AMOLED Full HD+ (2400*1080) pixels display with a 90 Hz refresh rate. Also, it will likely carry quad-rear cameras at the back and will have a 32 M.P. front selfie camera. There is a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, and the device will run on Android 12 O.S. along with the Samsung One UI 4.1.

Samsung is likely to offer 3 major software updates and 4 years of security patches for the new A-series mobiles.

The prodigy 3.5mm headphone jack may return with the Galaxy A33 (5G). The phone can have a 4800 mAH capacity battery and will come with an 18 Watts Charger.

Samsung A52s (5G)

On 1 September 2021, Samsung launched a new smartphone in India – Samsung Galaxy A52s (5G).

Notably, this new phone comes with almost similar specs and design as the previously launched Galaxy A52. However, it has a better processor and a high refresh rate display.

Powering the phone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 778G Octa-core processor that is fabricated on a 6nm chipset and clocked at 2.4Ghz that offers an immersive performance.

Furthermore, it comes with a 120Hz refresh rate display offering a fluid user experience. Also, the phone has 5G support and supports many 5G bands, making it future-proof.

Notably, it operates on the latest Android 11 based on a Samsung One UI 3.1 and will also get future Os and security updates from Samsung. Also, there are some premium features like NFC and I.P. 67 Rating (Water and dustproof).

Overall purely based on Specs the Galaxy A52s is pretty expensive.

However, we are getting decent cameras, future software support, good after-sales service and network, premium features like NFC and I.P. 67 Rating.

If you are not into gaming and want a daily driver for work, videos, photos, selfies the A52s can be a phone to consider.

Of course, there are several options from Oneplus, Xiaomi, and other Chinese brands that you can buy in this price range.


Samsung Galaxy A22 5G

Samsung Galaxy A22 5G was launched in late July in India and is one of the most affordable 5G smartphones from the brand.

It is a mid-range smartphone that comes with 5G support, decent cameras, and a good display.

However, Samsung should have offered an AMOLED display in this price range.

Samsung’s new phone is available in a single variant with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage at a price tag of Rs 21,999.

There is a 20:9 aspect ratio, 412ppi density, 800nits peak brightness, and a 90Hz refresh rate. Further, the display is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 5.

For videos and photography, the Galaxy A32 has a Quad rear camera setup which comes with a minimalist design and blends into the back of the phone seamlessly.

The Samsung Galaxy A52 was recently launched in India and is available for purchase starting at Rs. 26,399.

There are hardly any phones with waterproof designs under 30k or even 40k. However, it lacks 5G support.
