Verdict – The smartphone are meant for mid range buyers who are looking for smartphones in the range of Rs. 20,000. Both E5 and E7 are essentially same in terms of hardware barring the rear camera and additional RAM in the E7. The specs are not very impressive for the price they command and also there is nothing new in the design or usage interface. If Samsung would have launched them with the Android Lollipop update, they could have become winning horses for Korean conglomerate.
If you are a Samsung fan you can explore the Samsung A3 and A5 compared to E7 and E5 in the same range they have better styling, metallic body and looks. In case you like the old conventional Samsung look E7 and E5 will enchant you. For buyers looking for a performance smartphone can look at the Lenovo Vibe X2 or Huawei Honor 6 around 18-20k price range.
