Samsung Galaxy J7+ Launch
Samsung is reportedly said to be working on a mid-range dual camera smartphone for a long time now. The South Korean company has not launched any dual camera smartphone until now because it wants the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 as its first dual-lens phone.
Notably, Samsung has made the Samsung Galaxy J7+ official now, and it is launched in Thailand priced at TBH (12,900) or Rs. 25,000.
The smartphone will go on sale on 18th September in Thailand.
Moreover, It is also rumored that the J7+ can also launch in the Indian market in early January 2018.
Also, The Galaxy Note 8 with dual cameras is official now and is likely to go on sale around 21 September in the Indian market.
Besides, Samsung has made the first mid-range dual camera smartphone named as Samsung Galaxy J7+ that is a beefed up variant of Galaxy J7 (2017).
Furthermore, the major difference between the Galaxy J7 (2017) and Galaxy J7+ is the dual camera setup at the back. Also, it has an upgraded front-facing camera.
The Samsung J7+ comes in 3 colors – black, gold, and pink. The smartphone looks more like the Samsung C series with thin and sleek metallic design. Additionally, it has two capacitative touch keys on the front and a home button with an integrated fingerprint scanner.

As stated earlier, the Galaxy J7+ comes with the dual camera at the back, along with a powerful front-facing camera. The J7+ features a primary 13 MP sensor at the rear with f/1.7 aperture, along with a 5 MP secondary sensor with f/1.9 aperture.
Samsung’s Live Focus Portrait Mode feature that was introduced with the Galaxy Note 8 is even available on Galaxy J7+. This would be one of the best features to make the device special in the mid-range category.
Samsung has added a powerful 16 MP front-facing selfie camera to the J7+. Finally, Samsung has a mid-range phone with powerful dual rear cameras and selfie camera to compete against Vivo and Oppo.
Samsung Galaxy J7+ Specifications
Coming to the specs sheet of the Galaxy J7+, it features a 5.5-inch 1080p display, with a Super AMOLED panel.
Unfortunately, Samsung has chosen to go with the Mediatek Chipset in the Samsung J7+. The phone is powered by the MediaTek Helio P20 processor clocked at 2.3 GHz and comes with the ARM Mali-T880 MP2 GPU. Additionally, the processor is paired with 4 GB of RAM and 32 GB of internal storage.
Further, There is a dedicated microSD card slot for storage expansion up to 256 GB.
The J7+ come with Android 7.1.1 Nougat update out of the box and will pick up Android O update very soon.
Also, the Dual camera phone is backed by a 3600 mAh battery along with fast charging support. Lastly, customers can choose the device in three color options- black, pink, and gold.
Earlier it was expected that Samsung would launch a new smartphone called as Samsung C10 with a Dual camera, ahead of Samsung Note 8 but now we can expect the J7+ to reach market ahead of the Samsung C10.
