Samsung is basking in the glory of the launch of Samsung Galaxy S7 and the S7 edge, which left most of the Android competition behind. Even the Apple guys were awestruck with the beautiful design, display, and the immaculate camera clarity.
The grape vine is suggesting an improved Samsung Galaxy Note 7 this year which is expected to be unveiled Globally on 2nd August 2016. T
The Samsung S7 was a big step forward offering everything you would like to have in a smartphone from best camera, water-proof, gorgeous design, reasonable battery life and a much less annoying touch wiz.

Hardcore Pure Android enthusiasts including myself were not able to give up the temptation of leaving the Nexus 6P and jump to the S7.
And all the hype and promise lives up to what Samsung delivered. But making the S7 better or making the Note 7 stand out from already the best devices is no kids play.
Samsung would have to toil more to make the Note 7 more relevant and useful for buyers to jump from the Samsung Note 5 to a new Note.
Samsung is not launching the Samsung Note 6 but will have Note 7, probably to match up the iPhone 7 which is also due sometime in September.
A lot of Apple fans hope the iPhone 7 will bring a significant upgrade to Camera, display and appalling battery life of iPhone. Yes and I don’t want Apple to launch a stupid battery case to make the iPhone look ugly.
Coming to the recent leaks, the Samsung S7 is going to have a 5.7-inch screen size, same as the old Samsung Note 5 and slightly larger than the Samsung S7 Edge (5.5 inches). The display is going to be Quad HD Super AMOLED(2560*1440) resolution with 515 PPI.
The design language is going to be a transmutation of the Samsung Note 5 and Samsung Galaxy S7 with as much use of glass and metal as possible. Glass design looks gorgeous but is prone to easy scratches, the true story of every S7 user.
The Samsung Note 7 will come with the Corning’s Gorilla Glass 4 and IP68 certifications to make it water and dustproof. It is yet not clear if Samsung will use a slightly curved display for the Note 7, but definitely, the S-Pen integration will remain as has been in the Note series.
The improved touch-wiz with Android Marshmallow, it would be missing the Android N as Google will save it for the Next Google Nexus smartphone which will get launched in October 2016.
Not to despair, we have heard that Samsung is improving the touch wiz with more iOS 9 like blurring effects and also a Google photo like Samsung Gallery APP. Though nothing wrong with the Samsung Gallery app which is capable of creating events and auto video streams. The only thing people probably wish is a smoother, fluid UI.
Samsung already has a really fantastic camera in the S7 and is likely to continue with F/1.8 aperture, 12 Megapixel rear camera on the Galaxy Note 7. The front camera leaks also suggest a 5 MP lens for taking good selfies. The Samsung S7 front camera is also quite decent but there is room for improvement, and even an 8 MP camera won’t hurt.
Performance & Storage
The Galaxy Note 7 is going to have slightly faster processor when compared to the current Galaxy S7 which comes with either the Snapdragon 820 or the Exynos 8890. It is likely that Note 7 is going to have the Exynos 8893 or the Snapdragon 823 processor with Quad-Core architecture.
The Samsung Galaxy Note 7 is alleged to come with 6 GB of rams like the OnePlus 3 or the Lenovo Zuk Z2. The Galaxy Note 7 is expected to arrive with 64 GB of storage and 128 GB storage models.
Battery, Connectivity & More
Samsung skipped the USB type C port in the Galaxy S7, but the Note 7 is now alleged to come with the modern port. The Note 7 can also have a 4000 mAH capacity battery which is higher compared to the S7 edges 3600 mAH capacity battery.
The other Major Highlight of the Note 7 is going to be the retina scanner to unlock the device in addition to the fingerprint scanner.
