Huawei has released a slightly updated version of Enjoy 6 released earlier this year. The Enjoy 6s offers slightly improved specs when compared to the Enjoy 6. Notably, both the smartphones are available in China so far.
Design & Display – The Huawei Enjoy 6s is made out of metal and has a generic candy-bar look to it. It’s quite slim and measures 7.6mm in thickess. At the bottom there is Huawei Logo and it has on-screen navigation buttons. The Huawei 6s has a 5 inch IPS LCD display instead of an AMOLED display like its sibling.
Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 – Huawei Enjoy 6s
Performance – The Enjoy 6s runs on the latest Qualcomm 400 series chipset – Snapdragon 435 coupled with 3 GB of RAM. SD 435 is an Octa-Core 64 Bit processor, and comes with a clock speed of 1.4 GHz (manufactured with 28 Nm process).
We recently used the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 powered Asus Zenfone 3 Laser and the Xiaomi Redmi 3s Prime and both the smartphones were impressive in gaming as well as general performance. The Adreno 505 coupled with the Adreno 430 was able to game on Full HD display. Snapdragon 435 also uses the same Adreno 505 GPU.
It has 32 GB of internal storage with expand-ability option upto 128 GB through micro SD cards. The phone doesn’t have a dedicated SD card slot, instead uses a hybrid dual sim slot.
Camera – Enjoy 6s features a 13 MP rear camera with f/2.2 aperture and there is a 5 MP front selfie camera.
Battery – The Huawei Enjoy 6s has a smaller 3020 mAH battery, compared to massive 4100 mAh battery in Enjoy 6. While the battery capacity is reduced significantly the thickness has gone down by just 0.6 cm.
OS and Connectivity – The phone runs on Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 with EMUI 4.1 skin on top. It houses a fingerprint sensor at the back, like most Huawei devices. It has all the basic connectivity options like 4G/LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, dual-band, WiFi Direct, Hotspot, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, NFC, etc.
The smartphone in China costs CNY 1,599 approximately ₹16,000 in India. It is available in Gold, Silver, White color options. Huawei has been aggressive in it’s product launches, recently they launched the Dual Camera smartphones Huawei Mate 9 and Mate 9 Pro.
