Sony Xperia X Series Smartphones Better Camera and Performance

 Sony has unveiled three new smartphones under X series along with new mobile accessories at the ongoing MWC in Spain.

After a long time of using with Z and M nomenclature, Sony has finally moved on to the new naming series known as X series. For Sony its an evolution of Xperia devices.

Sony had started the X series with three new smartphones :

1). Xperia X

2). Xperia XA

3). Xperia Performance

The specifications of Xperia X, XA and X performance is revealed and its clear from the name that the Xperia X performance is the high-end device on this list, while the XA is a mid-range device.

The X series comes with better Camera, Bigger battery and are more refined design.

Performance 

The Sony Xperia X Performance has the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 processor which is also used in the LG G5 and the Samsung Galaxy S7. The Sony Xperia X runs on the Qualcomm Snapdragon 650 similar to the one we will see on the Redmi Note 3.

While the Xperia XA runs on the new Mediatek Octa-Core processor Helio P10, Gionee S8 launched recently also has the similar processor.

In general, all three devices feature a 5-inch screen of which the mid-range XA have HD resolution while the other two mobiles have Full HD display.

While Xperia X and Performance will get 3 GB RAM, the Xperia XA will have 2 GB RAM.

Camera 

Sony has done some major improvements to the camera for X series.  The camera is developed in collaboration with its Alpha DSLR camera team of SONY, to give the best possible camera to the new Sony X series smartphones.

More particularly there is better autofocus system which keeps track of the subject to avoid blur due to movements. It is able to focus on the subject much faster compared to the conventional smartphone’s cameras.

The Xperia X and X Performance have 23 Mega Pixel rear camera with Hybrid Auto Focus. The Xperia XA has a 13 MP rear camera to shoot some great images.

Battery Life 

The smartphones offer good battery life and Sony claims 2 days Battery back up with these smartphones. Sony X Series comes with fast charging features which makes use of Qnovo charging technology.

The Qnovo charging tech claims to provide faster charging and also benefits by providing more charging cycles thereby extending the battery life.

The smartphones have different battery sizes with the X performance having largest of 2700 mAh battery, and Xperia X has 2620 mAh while XA comes with just 2300 mAh battery.

While the XA, on the other hand, misses some features like a fingerprint sensor,  and have low-resolution screen, camera, and a relatively smaller battery.

Sony Xperia Eye And Xperia Ear.

Sony also released new accessories like Xperia Eye and the Xperia Ear. The Xperia ear is a hands-free headset with voice support, while the Xperia Eye is a wearable camera.

The Xperia Eye is quite an innovative camera which automates the photo clicking by recognizing faces and voice, in short, the Xperia Eye is intelligent enough to decide and capture the moments that are worth taking photos.
