Pune-based handset and tablets vendor, Swipe Technologies, announced their latest smartphone – Swipe Elite Pro.
The mobile comes with a price tag of Rs 6,999 and is available exclusively on Snapdeal. According to the company, Elite Pro offers smartphone users a premium smartphone at an affordable price.
The Elite Pro directly competes with Xiaomi Redmi 4 (16 GB) which also comes with a price tag of Rs 6,999. Swipe Elite Pro is available in a single color option, i.e., White.
Whereas, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 comes in two color options, i.e., Gold and Black.
Swipe Elite Pro Challenges Redmi 4 in Sub 7K Price Range
Swipe Elite Pro sports a 5 inch IPS LCD display with 720p resolution and 294 PPI. Similarly, Redmi 4 also flaunts 5-inch display with a resolution 720p. The Elite Pro comes with a poly-plastic body and a fingerprint scanner on the rear side.
The mobile weighs 165 grams and is 8.7 mm thick while Redmi 4 has 150 grams of weight and comes with 8.65 mm thickness.
Powering the phone is a 1.4 GHz Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 Processor with 3 GB RAM. On the other hand, Redmi 4 draws power from Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 Octa-Core Processor (clocked at 1.4 GHz) and comes with 2 GB RAM.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 offers superior performance in comparison to the Snapdragon 425. We can expect the Redmi 4 to be about 20% faster in comparison to the Elite Pro.
Xiaomi Redmi 4
The Elite Pro has 1 GB Ram extra, but the Redmi 4 has better performance in comparison to the Elite 4 because of the faster SOC.
The Swipe mobile offers 32 GB internal storage that is expandable up to 64 GB via Micro-SD Card. Whereas, Redmi 4 only offers 16 GB internal memory, expandable to 128 GB using micro-sd card.
Swipe Elite Pro runs on the outdated Android 6.0 Marshmallow while Redmi 4 comes with the Android 7.0 Nougat update.
As far as Camera department is concerned, Swipe Elite Pro has a 13 MP Primary (rear) Camera with LED Flash, and for selfies, it has 8 MP Front Camera.
On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 4 has 13 MP rear Camera with LED Flash and 5 MP Front Shooter.
Connectivity options on Elite Pro and Redmi 4 include 4G, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPS, etc. Swipe Elite Pro offers a 2500 mAh capacity battery. On the other hand, Xiaomi Redmi 4 packs 4100 mAh battery capacity which is significantly higher when compared to the Elite Pro.

Overall the Swipe Elite PRO is an impressive 4G VOLTE mobile in subs 7K price range. However, the Redmi 4 scores higher when it comes to performance and battery life.
