As per a recent report leaked by the DigiTimes, we may be seeing a better and faster iPad Air 3 in coming months. Apple Keynote is going to happen in March 2016, and we are expecting the new iPad Air 3 to get unveiled at the event.
At the time of writing the article, the dates for the keynote are not finalized, and these are all based on rumors and leaks. The Cupertino based tech giant is known to throw surprises at fans and this year is not going to be any different.
The iPad Air 3 reports come from the supply chain manufacturers who claim that the new iPad Air 3 can release as early as March. Key Apple vendors General Interface Solutions and TPK holdings have given some credence to the report, and also some evidence is coming that says the new iPad Air 3 will also have 4K Display.
The iPad Air 2 was released almost two years back with the retina display and the Apple A8 processor and was significantly faster (almost two times) Vs. The older iPad Air. It brought a better camera and a much thinner display when Apple introduced a new technology to reduce the Air gap between the display and touch panel.
The new iPad Air 3 is also going to bring some improvement to the battery life; Apple will like to push it to have more than 10 hours of battery back up.
The display is going to be 9.7 inches like the older iPad Air 2, but there are stronger reports that Apple may introduce the 3D touch to the new iPad Air 3. The 3D touch was introduced by Apple in the iPhone 6s which helps users have more options and ease by deep pressing the icons.
It is yet not clear will Apple use a new processor or the A9 Pro processor which they have used in the Apple iPad Pro. My bet is they would be using the A9 which is used in the Apple iPhone 6s in the iPad Air 3. Apple iPad Pro also comes with 4 GB of Ram, and that is what is expected with the new iPad Air 3.
iOS 9.4 or even the iOS 10 will be the version which we think would be running the all-new iPad Air 3. It is also noteworthy that Apple is expected to launch the 4 inch Apple iPhone 5se at the event which will come with specs similar to the iPhone 6 but will have an 8 Megapixel rear camera.
We are eagerly waiting for Tim Cook to take the wraps off new Apple products. Hope you enjoyed the article share your thoughts in comments Below.
