Xiaomi unveiled three new smartphones in China on 28th October 2021 – Redmi Note 11, Note 11 Pro, and the Note 11 Pro+. These new phones will soon launch in China and other countries like India.
We are expecting Xiaomi to launch the Redmi Note 11 series as Xiaomi Mi11i in the Indian market. Let’s start with the most anticipated Upcoming Xiaomi mobile – Redmi Note 11.
Redmi Note 11
The Redmi Note 11 series has three phones:
- Redmi Note 11
- Redmi Note 11 Pro
- Redmi Note 11 Pro+.
The new Note 11 series comes with a boxy design that looks similar to the Apple iPhone 13.
All the smartphones in the series come with 5G support and run on MIUI 12.5 based on Android 11.
Key Specs Xiaomi Redmi Note 11
The smartphone offers a 6.6 inch IPS LCD display with a punch-hole notch and FHD+(2400*1080)pixels resolution. Also, It has an incredible 90Hz refresh rate.
The credit for the performance goes to the new MediaTek Dimensity 810 Octa-core processor(6nm) that comes along with an ARM Mali-G57 GPU.
It is available in the following variant in China:
- 4/6/8GB RAM and 128/256GB onboard memory.
The smartphone runs on the MiUi 12.5 based on the Android 11 OS.
For optics, it has a dual-camera setup at the back including a 50MP primary camera and 8MP wide-angle secondary camera.
Additionally, it offers a 16MP front-facing camera for shooting selfies.
Apart from an amazing camera setup, it comes with a huge 5000mAH battery that comes along with a 33 Watts fast charging support.
The smartphone has 8.8 mm thickness and weighs 195 grams.
It has a USB Type C port, 3.5 mm headphone jack, and has an IP53 rating.
The starting price of the Redmi Note 11 in China is CNY 1,199 (Roughly Rs 14,000).
Redmi Note 11 Pro
The Redmi Note 11 Pro offers some premium features over the base Note 11.
It comes with a large 6.67 inch AMOLED punch hole notch display along with FHD+(2400*1080)pixel resolution and offers a 120Hz refresh rate.
Also, there is Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
Powering the Note 11 Pro is a MediaTek Dimensity 920 octa-core processor(6nm) and it has an ARM Mali-G68 GPU for handling gaming.
Talking about the variant, it comes in the following:
- 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard memory.
- 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard memory.
- 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard memory.
Notably, the Note 11 Pro offers a superior Triple camera rear camera system. It offers a 108MP primary camera (dual ISO and an f/1.89 aperture), an 8MP ultra-wide-angle camera, and a 2MP macro camera.
For selfies, the phone is equipped with a 16MP front camera.
Furthermore, it offers a 3.5 mm headphone jack, NFC support, 5G, Dolby Atmos, IP 53 rating, JBL tuned speakers, USB Type C port, and WIFI 6.
Lastly, fueling the phone is a decent 5160mAH battery and it also got a 67 Watts superfast charging support.
The smartphone has 8.3 mm thickness and weighs 207 grams.
The starting price of the Redmi Note 11 Pro in China is CNY 1,599 (roughly Rs. 18,700).
Redmi Note 11 Pro+
The Redmi Note 11 Pro+ is the most premium phone that the company has launched in the Note 11 series.
It offers mostly the same specs as the Note 11 Pro but differs in battery size and charging speed.
The phone is fueled with a 4500mAH battery, with 120 Watts ultrafast charging support.
The smartphone has 8.3 mm thickness and weighs 204 grams.
Lastly, the starting price of the Redmi Note 11 Pro+ in China is CNY 1,899 (roughly Rs. 22,200).
India Launch and Price for the Redmi Note 11, 11 Pro, and 11 PRO+
Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 series can launch in India in mid-December based on some of our sources. Here is the expected India price for the Note 11 series.
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 – Rs. 14,999
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 PRO – Rs. 18,999
- Xiaomi Redmi Note 11 PRO+ – Rs. 21,999
One of the reasons why the Pro versions are more expensive is the presence of an AMOLED panel on these instead of the IPS LCD panel on the non-pro version.
If you have a slightly higher budget the Redmi Note 11 Pro can be a great choice.
Xiaomi launched the 11T series back in September 2021 at a global event. It is likely that Xiaomi may launch the 11T series in India in either November or December 2021.
There are two phones that we are anticipating Xiaomi to launch in India – Xiaomi 11T and Xiaomi 11T Pro.
Let’s have a look at the specs of the Xiaomi 11T:
Xiaomi 11T
The Xiaomi 11T features a 6.67 inch AMOLED dot notch display and has an FHD+(2400*1080)pixels resolution, 1000nits peak brightness, and 120Hz refresh rate.
The MediaTek Dimensity 1200 octa-core processor(6nm) powers the 11T and there is an ARM Mali-G77 GPU for gaming.
Notably, the smartphone operates on Android 11 along with MIUI 12.5
Camera details – It has a Triple camera setup at the back including a 108MP primary camera, an 8MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 5MP telephoto macro lens. Additionally, it has a 16MP front camera for selfies.
Fueling the phone is a huge 5000mAH battery that has a 67W fast charging support.
The smartphone has 8.8 mm thickness and weighs 203 grams(heavy).
Furthermore, it also supports 5G network connectivity.
Lastly, the phone comes in 2 storage variants:
- 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for EUR 499 (roughly Rs. 43,300)
- 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for EUR 549 (roughly Rs. 47,700)
But, it lacks expandable storage support.
Xiaomi 11T Pro
The 11T Pro and 11T are almost similar, I am sharing below some of the upgrades in the Pro version.
Powering the 11T Pro is the most powerful Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 processor(5nm) and has an Adreno 660 GPU.
The battery of the phone is the same as Xiaomi 11T but it got a 120W ultrafast charging support.
Lastly, It comes in three variants:
- 8GB RAM and 128GB storage for EUR 649 (roughly Rs. 56,400)
- 8GB RAM and 256GB storage for EUR 699 (roughly Rs. 60,700)
- 12GB RAM and 256GB storage for EUR 749 (roughly Rs.65,000)
Xiaomi 12 – Flagship Smartphone
Allegedly, the upcoming Xiaomi 12 smartphone was spotted on a subway train and was shared on the Chinese Social Media Network Weibo.
The smartphone was in a cover, but as per expected specs is likely to launch with a curved display and will have a smaller selfie camera at the front.
The Xiaomi 12 will come with a new AMOLED LTPO display with a 120Hz refresh rate.
Powering it is the upcoming Qualcomm Snapdragon 898 chipset, manufactured using a 4nm fabrication process.
The phone will run on a faster 12GB LPDDR5x RAM and can have 256 GB or 512GB UFS 3.1 storage.
It will offer a better user experience and will come with the new Android 12 OS with MIUI.
For imaging, the phone will feature a triple rear camera setup including a 50MP primary camera sensor capable of recording 8K videos and shooting detailed images. The other two cameras will be a Zoom lens with a hybrid Zoom and an ultra-wide camera for shooting landscape images.
The phone will have a large 5,000 mAh capacity and 120W wired fast charging and 50W wireless charging support.
Lastly, the phone will have features like – NFC, an under-display fingerprint scanner, 5G, and WIFI 6.
Xiaomi has launched several K-Series phones in India in the past but lately they are not launching them.
Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Zoom
A few days ago, the render of Xiaomi 12 series phones leaked online, and now their specs are also spread on the internet.
As per reports, Xiaomi 12 Lite and Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom will join the Xiaomi 12 series.
Both phones could arrive in March 2022 alongside Xiaomi Mix 5.
Note – The phones will operate on the latest Android 12 with MIUI 13.
Let’s talk about their leaked specs:
Xiaomi 12 Lite
The 12 Lite will come with the same 3D edge design as the Xiaomi Civi launched in September 2021 in China.
Some leaks claim that the phone will feature a 6.55-inch AMOLED panel with FHD+ resolution and a 120Hz refresh rate.
The brand will use either Snapdragon 778G or a 778G+ processor to power the phone. Similarly, the device will have an ARM Mali-642L GPU for gaming.
It could have a Triple camera module at the rear – a 64MP Samsung ISOCELL GW3 primary sensor, a wide-angle lens, and a macro camera. Additionally, the phone will come with an In-display fingerprint sensor.
We can expect that the phone packs either a 4500 or 5000mAH battery for fueling the phone and will have at least 65 Watts fast charging support.
Xiaomi 12 Lite Zoom
Note – The Lite Zoom will come with almost similar specs as Xiaomi 12 Lite.
However, the phones will be slightly different in terms of the camera because the Lite Zoom will use a telephoto lens instead of the macro camera.
