Vivo presentation started with a lot of focus on the made in India campaign. The company shared about the assembly of smartphones in Noida, though they told it as manufacturing, in reality, it is mostly assembly. Register for Vivo V7+.
Vivo also shared an emotional video on how the employees are able to earn more with Vivo and how Vivo is contributing to the growth of India.
The whole presentation was long, boring, and seemed unconvincing to me. Vivo and Oppo are under a lot of stress due to the backlash from Indians because of China’s aggression on Indian borders. Somehow the presentation was looking like an attempt to soften the stand of people opposing the brand. Let’s talk more of the smartphone which Vivo launched.

Initial Thoughts on Vivo V7+
Overall the display seems to be a big let down, Vivo should have used at least a Full HD+ resolution display to enhance the user experience. Also, the Snapdragon 450 though is a new processor but it is not as fast as a Snapdragon 625 or a Snapdragon 630 SOC which can be used in an expensive device priced over 20k.
The front camera though is loaded with more pixels but that does not ensure that it is going to be great, more pixels does not mean a better camera. Though Vivo has not priced it as exorbitantly as they have done with some of the other phones in the past.
- A new Design with a metallic build and lightweight smartphone with Full Vision Display.
- 24 Megapixel front selfie camera.
- HIFI sound
- The display is only HD with low resolution (1440*720).
- Snapdragon 450 is good but not great.
- No USB Type C port or Fast Charging support.
So that’s All about the Vivo V7 Plus.
