Vivo X6s and X6s Plus – All Specs and Features
Vivo has launched two new smartphones Vivo X6s and X6s Plus, as successor to the Vivo X6 smartphone released last year. The smartphones come with stunning looks and have design remarkably similar to the iPhone 6.
The Vivo X6s and X6s plus smartphones come with dedicated Audio Chipset, which offers incredible music experience when compared to normal smartphones.
Among all the major phone makers, Vivo has been focusing more on better audio experience for most of its smartphones.
The Vivo X6s and X6s plus smartphones caries Yamaha Audio chipsets, the X6s have a 32 bit AKM4375 DAC while the X6s plus have an ES9028 DAC.
Both the smartphones have similar design language but the Vivo X6s Plus comes with larger battery, screen, and better rear camera. Both the smartphones have a very similar design when compared to the iPhone 6 with a similar frame, back camera, bottom grill.
iPhone 6 has been brutally copied by a huge number of manufacturers and last week we saw Oppo launching the new R9 and R9 Plus with really similar design and looks when compared to the iPhone 6.
The Vivo X6s smartphone carries a Full HD Super AMOLED display panel which measures 5.2 inches and offers 420 PPI. The Vivo X6s plus on the other hand comes with a slightly large 5.7-inch screen with the same Full HD resolution.
Both the smartphones have the same 64-bit Snapdragon 652 Octa-core processor, Adreno 510 GPU, and 4GB RAM, with Android Lollipop OS out of the box. This is very similar configuration if you compare it with the Oppo R9 and R9 plus. The R9 Plus also has the same Snapdragon 652 processor, this is one of the best processors and offer near flagship performance and will also be used in the HTC M10 (lower variant) and LG G5 lite.
Both the smartphone comes with plenty of Ram – yes both the devices offer incredible 4 GB of RAM.
The smartphones don’t have expandable storage apart from the 64 GB internal storage space. Design wise both the smartphones look identical, and features an All metal body construction and have premium look.
On the camera front, the Vivo X6s carries a 13 MP rear camera while the X6s Plus carries a 16 MP camera. The front camera on both the devices is an 8 Megapixel shooter capable of clicking good selfies.
The Vivo X6s and X6s plus are fitted with a better Fingerprint scanner compared to the older Vivo smartphones, having an FPC1035 sensor from Finger Print Card backed with an algorithm from precise algorithm to ensure faster unlocking.
The Vivo X6 released last year with the same module is said to have better scanning capabilities. More device makers were showing interest in this particular Fingerprint scanner and algorithms, so it may become a standard technology for upcoming smartphones.
The smartphone’s battery also have variations, the X6s have 2400 mAh battery while the X6s plus have a larger 3000 mAh battery and also have support for fast charging. On the connectivity front, both the smartphones have 4G LTE support along with the native 3G/2G and native WIFI.
The X6s is priced at Rs 26,500 and the X6s Plus is priced at Rs. 30,600 in the Chinese market. The smartphones are available on pre-order starting from April 5 in China, yet Vivo India has not provided the exact launch date of new smartphones in the Indian market.
