We are getting closer towards the official launch of Xiaomi Mi 6, the flagship phone from the Chinese vendor for 2017 and leaks keep on pouring ahead of the launch.
Almost all the specifications of the phone have been leaked, and they suggest that Xiaomi will launch two variants of the Mi 6- the standard Mi 6 and a larger Mi 6 Plus with bumped up specifications.

That said, both the Xiaomi Mi 6 and Mi 6 Plus specs have surfaced online along with the purported images. The Xiaomi Mi 6 will retain the same 5.5-inch display as its predecessor- Mi 5 and the resolution will be 1080*1980 pixels.
The Xiaomi Mi6 is alleged to come with a 20 MP Sony IMX400 camera sensor and with a single lens.
Xiaomi might protect the display with Corning Gorilla Glass 5 technology.
On the other hand, we have the Mi 6 Plus, which is rumored to come with a 5.7-inch Quad HD AMOLED display with a resolution of 1440*2560 pixels.
In terms of hardware, both the phones will come powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 835 chipset along with 4 GB/6 GB/8 GB of RAM.
Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus Dual Camera smartphone
The Xiaomi Mi 6 Plus images were leaked today and the smartphone features to horizontal rear camera’s at the back. The smartphone is expected to use to identical 12 Mega Pixel camera lens made by Sony for the dual rear camera.
The camera approach for Xiaomi looks similar to Apple which uses a single lens on the iPhone 7 and has a Dual rear camera setup for the more expensive iPhone 7 Plus.
Rumor mills say that Xiaomi might release the phone with Snapdragon 821 chip in April and will announce the Snapdragon 835 variant in May or June.
The Xiaomi Mi 6 will come with 4 GB/6 GB of RAM and 64 GB/128 GB storage, whereas the Mi 6 Plus will pack 4 GB/6 GB/8 GB of RAM and 64 GB/128 GB/256 GB of native storage.
There are not many details about the camera sensors to be used in the phones, but the most recent leaks revealed that the Mi 6 Plus would pack a dual rear camera and the Mi 6 will boast of a single camera.
In terms of pricing, the Xiaomi MI 6 will cost CNY 1999 (approx. Rs. 20,000) and go up to CNY 2799 (approx. Rs. 26,500) for the 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB storage variant.
The Mi 6 Plus will start at CNY 2499 (approx. Rs. 24,500) for the 4 GB RAM and 64 GB storage option and will cost CNY 3199 (approx. Rs. 31,000).
Currently, there are no details regarding the Indian launch of the phone, but Xiaomi teased the phone to launch in China on April 11.
