Xiaomi yesterday launched a new smartphone in the Indian market priced at Rs. 8799. The smartphone as per the current news will be available only for sale in the retail market and will not be available online. Xiaomi has been trying to increase it’s presence beyond online sales on Flipkart and Amazon to reach out to more customers with a larger retail presence.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus is similar to the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime which they have launched last month with major change as the RAM capacity on the Plus version is reduced by 1 GB. The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime comes with 3 GB of Ram while the new Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus will offer 2 GB of Ram.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 430 processor (64 Bit Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.3 GHz) and comes with Adreno 305 GPU.
Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus has a 5.0 Inch screen size and comes with HD resolution (1280*720). The smartphone comes with 13 Mega pixel rear camera and there is a 5 Mega pixel front camera to click selfies. The smartphone has a large battery with 4000 mAH capacity which can easily last all day.
The Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus runs on the Android Marshmallow 6.0 OS along with the MIUI 8.0. The smartphone offers 32 GB of internal storage and has Dual Sim support. It supports 4G LTE connectivity and also has VOLTE support to work with Reliance JIO , Vodafone , Airtel and Idea network.
The smartphone comes with a Fingerprint scanner at the back of the device to unlock the smartphone rapidly. Design and build quality wise it is the same smartphone like the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime with metallic frame and a poly-carbonate build.
The smartphone comes with 8.5 mm and has a weight of 144 gram.
Xiaomi though has a better offering in terms of the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Prime which comes with 3 GB RAM for a price tag of Rs. 8,999 when compared to the Xiaomi Redmi 3S Plus which comes with same specs and design but 2 GB RAM for a price tag of Rs. 8799.
