Xiaomi Redmi 4X Powered By Snapdragon 435 Adreno 505 GPU Launched – Xiaomi Redmi 4X got launched today along with the new Xiaomi Redmi 5C. While the Xiaomi Redmi 5C is powered by an in house Octa Core Surge S1 processor, the new Redmi 4X is powered by Octa-Core Snapdragon 435 processor.
Xiaomi has launched the Redmi 4X with a changed name – Redmi 4 in India with same specs.
The Xiaomi Redmi 4X is one of the most affordable smartphone from Xiaomi. It will be available in two variants:
- Xiaomi Redmi 4X – 2 GB Ram and 16 GB storage Priced at CNY 699 or Rs 7000.
- Xiaomi Redmi 4X – 3 GB Ram and 32 GB storage Priced at CNY 899 or Rs 9000.
The device will be available in Pink , Gold and black color variants in China.

The smartphone comes with robust metallic build and looks quite similar to the Redmi Note 4 which was recently launched in India.
The metallic smartphone comes with a circular fingerprint scanner at the back.
The Redmi 4X comes with 5.0 inch display and has HD resolution with 1280*720 pixels. It also has a 2.5 D curve glass surface usually not present on budget devices.
The other key highlight of the Redmi 4X is its 4100 mAH capacity battery which is large enough to offer all day battery back up.
The smartphone cones with hybrid dual sim and runs on Android Marshmallow along with the MiUi 8.0.
Redmi 4X has a 13 Megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture and there is also a 5 Mega pixel front selfie camera.
Additionally, the device comes with infrared sensor and also has 4G LTE as well as VOLTE connectivity.
The smartphone has 8.6 mm thickness and weighs 150 grams which is not too much considering screen size and battery capavity.
Overall a solid budget offering from Xiaomi, though don’t expect much from the camera.
