Indian smartphone manufacturer Xolo has launched the new Xolo ERA 1X Pro. The smartphone is the successor to the last years Xolo ERA 1X which was launched in August 2016.
The Xolo ERA 1X Pro is priced at Rs. 5,888 and will go on sale on e-commerce websites as well as will be available offline.
The XOLO ERA 1X PRO comes with a 5.0 Inch HD Display with 1280*720 pixels resolution and offers 283 PPI pixel density. The smartphone comes with a Dual-tone LED flash at the front side with a 5-megapixel selfie camera.
The rear camera is 8 Megapixel shooter and comes autofocus support and LED Flash. The rear camera offers slow motion and time-lapse videos which is rare in the price range.
The smartphone is powered by a Quad-Core processor clocked at 1.5 GHz and there is 2 GB of Ram.
The smartphone could be powered by the spread rum chipset though Xolo has not shared the chipset manufacturer.
The Xolo ERA 1X Pro offers 16 GB of internal storage which can be further expanded to 32 GB using the micro-sd card slot.
The smartphone has 4G LTE as well as VOLTE support to work with the JIO sim as well as with the other networks.
The smartphone comes with Android Marshmallow 6.0 which is now a dated OS but still, manufacturers are bundling the phones with it.
The smartphone has 2500 mAH battery capacity but misses on the fast charging support. The smartphone also misses on the fingerprint scanner.
Priced at Rs. 5,888 the Xolo Era 1X pro offers some decent features, especially in the camera department.
Xolo already has the Xolo Era 2x which is a good selling phone in the sub 8k price range.

Xolo has launched a new mid-range budget Android Smartphone known as the Xolo Cube for a price tag of Rs. 7,849. The smartphone as the name suggest misses any curves and is more cubicle or rectangular in shape.
Those buyers who like a less curvy smartphone will like the straight edged Xolo Cube. The smartphone will be available in three colors – white, gold and black. The smartphone is rather thin with 6.9 mm thickness it is easy to carry and use.

The smartphone has an 8 MP rear camera with LED flash and a 2 MP front camera to click some timeless photographs. The camera has HDR, face detection and burst mode, voice capture.
The Xolo Cube has 8 GB internal storage which is little low compared to some of the 16 GB smartphones available in the same price range, however, you can add a micro-SD card to increase the storage to 32 GB.
Xolo has done great with the addition of latest Android Lollipop 5.0 with Xolo Cube, the material design and flawless usage interface with the latest Android version makes it a good deal. The Android Lollipop is now present on 15% of the smartphones among all Android smartphones In the world.
The Xolo Cube offers standard connectivity options like 3G/2G/WIFI and Bluetooth.
The Xolo Cube uses the dated MediaTek Quadcore processor MTK 6582M processor clocked at 1.3 GHz, the same processor is used in much cheaper Xolo One or Android One smartphones. The smartphone is equipped with 1 GB RAM which is adequate to run multiple apps and games easily.
The Xolo Cube has 2100 mAH battery which is okay but not great, there are smartphones like Yureka with 2500 mAH battery and even the Honor C and Moto E 4G has a better battery. Xolo Cube offers some freshness in terms of design and slightly better display, specs are not as aggressive as seen in some of the rival smartphones.
