ZTE has launched a new smartphone in China priced at CNY 699 , approximately rs. 7,400. The Blade A2 comes with metal uni-body design and gorgeous front with low bezel display, beautified by the 2.5 D curved Glass. The smartphone will go on sale in China on 15 June 2016, it is available in China only and global launch dates are yet to be shared by ZTE.
The smartphone comes in silver color with metallic back and white front, the blue ring touch screen button distinguishes it from all other smartphones. ZTE Nubia series come with a red ring home button.
The ZTE Blade A2 has a thickness of 7.9 mm and weighs 139 grams, which is not too heavy for a 5.0 inch display smartphone.
The smartphone comes with 5.0 inch display with HD resolution (1280*720) pixels and 293 PPI. It is IPS LCD screen which is adorned by the 2.5 D curved glass and protective covering.
The ZTE Blade A2 is powered by the Mediatek Octa – Core processor MTK 6750 and is clocked at 1.5 GHz, the smartphone comes with 2GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory. The internal memory can be expanded to 128 GB using the micro-sd card.
The smartphone runs on the Android Lollipop 5.1 along with the ZTE custom skin MiFavor 3.2. which is a bit dated as we are already approaching to get the Android N in couple of months.
The ZTE Blade A2 has a 13 Megapixel rear camera located above the fingerprint scanner, the rear camera comes with Dual LED flash and phase detection auto-focus system to click sharp images.
The ZTE Blade A2 also has a 5 Megapixel front camera which is ideal for taking selfies.
The smartphone has a 360 fingerprint scanner at the back of the device which ZTE claims can unlock the smartphone in just 0.3 seconds.
The ZTE Blade A2 comes with Dual sim support and has a hybrid sim card slot. It has support for 4G LTE as well as the upcoming VOLTE technology.
The smartphone comes with 2500 mAH battery capacity and can work all day without need for charging it.
ZTE has been playing aggressively even in the Indian market but they need to bring some more quality handsets like the Blade A2 here to fight the Xiaomi , Lenovo and LeEco brigade.
