ZTE has launched a new smartphone in China priced at CNY 699, approximately Rs. 7,400. The Blade A2 comes with metal uni-body design and gorgeous front with low bezel display, beautified by the 2.5 D curved Glass.
The smartphone will go on sale in China on 15 June 2016. Further, it is available in China only, and global launch dates are yet to be shared by ZTE.
ZTE BLADE A2 Comes With Gorgeous Design
The smartphone comes in silver color with metallic back and white front. Also, there is blue ring touch-screen-button distinguishing it from all other smartphones. Contrastingly, the ZTE Nubia series come with a red ring home button.
The ZTE Blade A2 has a thickness of 7.9 mm and weighs 139 grams, which is not too heavy for a 5.0-inch display smartphone.

First of all, the smartphone comes with 5.0-inch display with HD resolution (1280*720) pixels and 293 PPI. Furthermore, It has an IPS LCD screen, adorned with the 2.5 D curved glass and a protective covering.
Notably, the ZTE Blade A2 is powered by the MediaTek Octa-Core processor (MTK 6750) and has a clock speed of 1.5 GHz. Moreover, it comes with 2GB of RAM and has 16 GB of internal memory. The internal memory can be expanded to 128 GB using the micro-sd card.
Additionally, the smartphone runs on the Android Lollipop 5.1 along with the ZTE custom skin MiFavor 3.2. The OS is a bit dated as we are already approaching to get the Android N, in a couple of months.
For photography, the ZTE Blade A2 has a 13 Megapixel rear camera located above the fingerprint scanner. Also, the back camera comes with Dual LED flash and phase detection auto-focus system to click sharp images.
Additionally, The ZTE Blade A2 also has a 5 Megapixel front camera which is ideal for taking selfies.
To beef up the security, it has a 360 fingerprint scanner at the back that ZTE claims can unlock the phone in just 0.3 seconds.
For connectivity, the ZTE Blade A2 comes with Dual sim support and has a hybrid sim card slot. It has support for 4G LTE as well as the upcoming VOLTE technology.
Lastly, the smartphone comes with 2500 mAH battery capacity and can work all day without the need for charging it.
In Conclusion, ZTE has been playing aggressively even in the Indian market, but they need to bring some more quality handsets like the Blade A2 to fight the Xiaomi, Lenovo and LeEco brigade.
