ZTE Blade A2 Plus Offers a Massive 5000 mAH Battery
Article Published On 4th Feb 2017 – ZTE recently launched the Nubia N1 and Z11 in the Indian market and yesterday they have launched another budget smartphone Blade A2 Plus.
The Sub 15K segment is getting hotter with new launches like Honor 6X, Oppo A57 and Xiaomi Redmi Note 4. ZTE is going all guns blazing for offering a great battery back up phones like Vivo and Oppo are hell-bent on selfies.
Update – 24/March/2017 – The ZTE A2 Plus has got an early price drop, only after a month of launch. Notably, It is now available for Rs 10,999 in comparison to the earlier price of Rs 11,999.
Contrastingly, the popular Honor 6X has Dual Camera, A57 is selfie-focused, Redmi Note 4 is about performance, the notable feature on ZTE A2 Plus is the large battery capacity.
It comes with a whopping 5000 mAh battery with fast charging support. A feature which was unheard of, at the price point of Rs 11,999.
The ZTE Blade A2 Plus is metallic and will come in the Silver and gold color options. It measures in at 155×76.2×9.8 mm and weighs 189 gram. It also retains the 3.5 mm audio jack.
5000 mAH Battery With Fast Charging Support
The front looks clean with no ZTE branding and has off-screen navigation buttons. This time around it features a blue circle as a home button instead of the traditional red color on Nubia Phones. Unfortunately, the buttons aren’t backlit.
The back has a dual-tone LED flash residing between the square-shaped camera sensor and the fingerprint sensor. The power and volume buttons are on the right side.
The phone runs Android Marshmallow v6.0 with MiFavor v3.5 skin on top.
At the front, it’s flaunting a 5.5-inch FHD (1920×1080) display. Its driven by a MediaTek MT-6750T SOC and has 4 GB of ram.
The phone ships with 32 GB of internal storage, expandable upto 128 GB with the help of micro SD cards. SIM 2 slot can be used for a memory card.
Furthermore, it sports a 13 MP rear camera with PDAF, recording capability limits upto 1080p.
Also, the front side has an 8 MP selfie camera. Like the iPhone 6S, the A2 Plus also has a screen flash feature for brighter selfies in low light situations.
Additionally, it supports 4G/VOLTE and would work with the JIO sim.
Its sold exclusively on Flipkart and offers like extra 5% off on Axis Bank Credit Cards and Rs. 1,000 off on exchange. Overall, its a worthy smartphone at a compelling price.
