ZTE V870 , ZTE Axon Max and Nubia Prague S Launch Specs Details

ZTE has launched a new mid-range smartphone called as ZTE V870 in China. The mobile comes with a 5.5 inch (1920×1080) FHD display with 2.5D curved glass on top.

The smartphone runs on Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SOC clocked at 1.4 GHz. The processor is mid-range and has been previously used in smartphones like Xiaomi Redmi 4.

ZTE V870 With 16 MP Rear Camera and Android Nougat Unveiled

The smartphone comes with 4 GB of RAM which is sufficient for multi-tasking. It also has a large 64 GB of internal storage and is expandable up to 128GB with the help of micro SD cards.

The V870 flaunts a 16 MP f/2.0 rear camera with single LED flash. At the front, it’s rocking an 8 MP selfie shooter to click selfies and make video calls.

It’s 2017, making it pretty visible about the standard Dual SIM, 3G/4G, VoLTE, WiFi, Bluetooth, GPRS, GPS connectivity option with the handset.

The smartphone is powered by a 3000 mAH battery with quick charge support. Surprisingly, it ships with the latest Android 7.0 Nougat software out of the box.

There has been no official word out on the official launch of the V870 handset in the international market.

ZTE  V870 is priced at CNY 2,699(approx 25,500) which seems to be quiet expensive considering the specs. There are yet no details available for an India / global launch for the ZTE V870.

Recently, ZTE also launched the Z17 mini in India priced at Rs 19,999. The ZTE Z17 mini offers the great camera as well as comes with a powerful Snapdragon Processor (SD 652). ZTE also has launched the Flagship smartphone for 2017 – ZTE Z17 powered by Snapdragon 835 and 8 GB of Ram, recently.

ZTE Axon Max Powered By Snapdragon 617 and 3 GB RAM Launched

ZTE unveiled its new Smartphone ZTE Axon MAX with 6.0 inch screen and 13 MP front camera at an event in China.

The ZTE Axon Max was unveiled in China with higher-mid range specs. The Axon Max is the company’s second 6 inch mobile after they launched the ZTE Grand Max.

ZTE Axon Max Powered By Snapdragon 617

The smartphone’s  6 inch screen carries a Full HD (1080*1920) AMOLED display panel , with a 2.5D glass finish.

The smartphone is made up of an Aluminum alloy with titanium, improving the durability of the smartphone.

The Axon Max is powered by Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon 617 processor built on 64-Bit architecture, and 3 GB of RAM.

The ZTE Axon Max comes with 32 GB storage space.

For further expansion the smartphone includes an SD slot to support up to 128 GB.

The smartphone runs on Android lollipop 5.1 with ZTE’s custom skin on top, the UI is customized by ZTE’s MiFavor 3.5.


The Axon Max is one of the early device to come with Snapdragon 617 we earlier saw HTC use the processor in the HTC A9.

The Snapdragon 617 processor scored a benchmark of 3186 points on Geek bench, which is closer to high ends like HTC M9, and Nexus 5X.

Despite the processor is designed for Mid-range devices,  it features improved Quick charge technology & LTE modem having 300 Mbps transfer rate, and higher resolution camera support (up to 21 MP).

Now coming to the smartphone’s camera –  there is a 16 MP camera is provided for the rear , with fast Auto-focus of 0.1 seconds. The front camera packs 13MP sensor which makes it a great selfie clicker in the mid-range smartphone section.

Other features of this smartphone are, a rear Finger print scanner, Quick charge 2.0 a larger 4140 mAh battery, 24-bit dedicated Audio chip, and 4G support with dual sim-slots.

The smartphone is priced at 431 USD (around 28500 INR). The sales will begin first in china this month and the pre-orders for the smartphone were already started. The company didn’t revealed the global availability of the smartphone yet.

ZTE Nubia Prague S offers Frame Interactive Technology

ZTE has launched a new smartphone and is part of the Nubia Series. The smartphone is a mid-range device with thin and sleek design. The Numbia series smartphones offers superior build quality and looks compared to other ZTE smartphones and are usually don’t offer killer specs for affordable price.

ZTE Nubia Prague S offers Frame Interactive Technology

The smartphone comes with FIT (Frame Interactive Technology) which enables users to use the edges of the smartphone to click images, increase decrease volume and open up Apps. It is not something new from ZTE but probably not too many users are aware of this. The similar technology was used in the predecessor smartphone ZTE My Prague.

The other highlighting feature for the Nubia Prague S is the Iris Eye scanner technology which enables users to unlock the smartphone by looking at the front camera.

The ZTE Prague S is launched in China for CNY 2499 , approximately Rs. 25000. The device will start shipping this week.


The ZTE Prague S comes with 5.2 inch display with super AMOLED Full HD resolution (1920*1080) with a pixel density of 423 PPI. The smartphone has a 2.5 D glass screen which merges seamlessly with it’s metal frame and also has the Gorilla Glass 3 protection.

ZTE Prague S also has NeoSound 4.0, AKM4375 Hi-Fi audio chip7.1-channel which provided dolby surround sound and enhance the audio out for both speakers as well as earphones.

The smartphone comes with Dual Sim support and has 4G LTE support. It runs on the Android Lollipop 5.1 OS and Numbia UI 3.0.  The smartphone is powered by the 64 Bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 615 processor and comes with 3 GB of Ram.

The smartphone comes with a 13 Mega Pixel rear camera with PDAF, F/2.2 lens and Auto-focus with led Flash. The front camera is a 8 MP shooter with wide angle, f/2.4 aperture, fixed focus lens.

The Camera UI is neo-vision which comes with advance as well as basic options to let you capture images the way you want to.  The smartphone comes with a large 64 GB of internal storage and you can even add a 128 GB Micro-sd card to the smartphone.

The smartphone has support for 4G LTE, WIFI, Bluetooth and micro USB.   It is yet not known when the smartphone will go on sale outside of China.
