HP recently launched the HP 14 and HP Pavilion X360 (Touch Screen) with 4G LTE support. Acer has also launched a cellular connectivity laptop. There are not too many 4G laptops available, but I am sharing some of the latest laptops that offer decent specs and built-in data connectivity.
Let’s check out the laptops in detail.
1). HP 14 (Intel Core i5) With Built In 4G LTE Support
The HP 14 is another laptop that you can purchase that comes with a built-in Sim Slot to connect to the internet.
The Notebook is ideal for office goers or people who travel and always need to access the internet. The Laptop is available for purchase at a starting price of Rs. 57,999 on major e-commerce stores.
The HP 14 Notebook is powered by the 10th Gen Intel Core i5-1035G1 Quad-Core Processor (1.1 GHz base frequency), up to 3.7 GHz boost clock speed, and a 6 MB cache. Further, there is a 14 Inch Display with 1920*1080 Pixels with Full HD resolution and 250 nits of brightness.
The battery capacity is huge, and it comes with a 70 Whr Battery that can easily last up to 9 hours of standard usage. Fast charging tech also allows for 50% charging in just 45 minutes.
The 8 GB DDR4 onboard Ram is user expandable up to 16 GB. We have got 256 GB M.2 SSD storage, and there is 1 TB of 5400 RPM HDD. The laptop comes pre-loaded with Windows 10 home and MS Office 2019. It is not too bulky and weighs 1.5 Kg.
There is a multi-touch trackpad and an ergonomic keyboard that doesn’t have backlight support.
HP Pavilion x360 Touchscreen Convertible Laptop (14-dw1039TU)
The HP Pavilion x360 4G LTE laptop with a touch display is available online with a price tag of INR 75,000 with a Natural Silver shade.
In addition, it sports a 14 inches full HD (1920*1080p) touchscreen display with an IPS panel. Also, it has 250 nits brightness, 45% NTSC, and an edge-to-edge glass micro design. It runs Windows 10 Home and comes pre-installed with Microsoft Home Office and Student 2019.
Powering the machine is the Intel 11th generation Core i5-1135G7 processor that clocks at 2.40 GHz and can boost up to 4.20 GHz. Also, it has 4 cores and 8 threads architecture with an 8 MB cache.
For graphics, it holds Intel Iris X graphics. Further, it pairs 8 GB DDR4 RAM (3200 MHz), and i is expandable up to 16 GB. The storage comes with a 512 GB NVMe SSD.
Moreover, it includes a rechargeable HP MPP2.0 tilt pen. The laptop packs a 3-cell 41 Whr battery that claims to deliver up to 7 hours of battery backup on a single charge. Also, it supports rapid charging.

3). Acer Spin 7 Notebook With 5G Connectivity
Acer Spin 7 Notebook is launched in India recently and is the first 5G laptop in the country. (There are plenty of 5G Phones).
Powering the machine is the new Qualcomm Snapdragon 8CX Gen 2 5G processor( Qualcomm likes to call it the Snapdragon platform instead of Snapdragon Processor as it also has a GPU for gaming and a Modem for connecting to the internet).
The newly launched laptop has sleek magnesium-aluminum alloy chassis but there is a slightly thicker bottom bezel.
Acer claims the laptop can deliver up to 29 hours of battery life. (It can, maybe, in the same way as Demonetization helped to remove the black money from India).
The laptop comes with a Sim Card Slot that you can use with any Telecom operator of choice – Airtel, Vodafone-Idea, BSNL, or JIO.
However, India’s 5G network roll-out is yet to start, so you have to rely on 4G connectivity till then.

The Acer notebook has 14 inches FHD (1920*1080p) IPS touchscreen display with stylus support. It has 250 nits peak brightness, anti-bacterial corning gorilla glass protection, and a 360-degree hinge. You can use it in tablet mode, which helps read articles or watch videos.
The Qualcomm Snapdragon 8CX Gen2 5G compute platform is powering the convertible with a Qualcomm Kryo 495 Octa-core processor based on 7nm architecture. It has up to 3.0 GHz turbo boost frequency. For graphics, the laptop includes Qualcomm Adreno 685 GPU.
Moreover, it pairs 8 GB LPDDR4 SDRAM. For storage, you will get 512 GB UFS high-performance storage. The device runs on Windows 10 Pro operating system.
Acer Spin 7 packs a 56 WHr battery which is claimed to deliver 29 hours of battery life. That’s a big claim. Even if it delivers 50% of the claimed battery life, we are in for a treat. The laptop is not too bulky, weighs 1.4 kg, and measures 15.9 mm in thickness.
This device is fan-less, so it works silently under heavy loads. The ports include – 2* USB Type-C, a 35 mm headphone/microphone combo jack, and a Kensington lock. The connectivity options are WiFi 6, Bluetooth 5.0, 4G LTE, 5G-Sub 6 GHz, and mmWave.
The Notebook has an ergonomic backlit keyboard. It has a 720p webcam and a fingerprint scanner. The Acer Spin 7 laptop launched in India with a price tag of INR 1,34,999 with a single Steam Blue color.
