Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 GA503QS Laptop (2021)
Asus has announced the Rog Zephyrus G15 gaming laptop updated with the latest Ryzen 5000 AMD processor during the CES 2021 digital event.
The laptop has notable changes in comparison to the previous-gen Asus Zephyrus G15 NoteBook.
It will be available in Eclipse Gray and Moonlight White color. The moonlight white color looks dope and comes with a design similar to the Asus Zephyrus G14 launched last year.

The gaming laptop comes with a 15.6 inches IPS display, and buyers will have two options – 1080p with 144 Hz or a higher resolution 1440p with 165 Hz. It has 100% DCI-P3 color reproduction and up to 400 nits peak brightness.
Besides, the device packs a new 90 Whr battery with a 200 W AC charger that claims to have 10 hours of lifespan. In terms of dimension, it has 19.9 mm thickness and 1.9 kg weight.
The G15 includes up to 32 GB DDR4 SDRAM and storage with 512 GB or 1 TB NVMe SSD. The Asus G15 will come with up to NVIDIA next-generation RTX 3080 graphics.
The Nvidia RTX 3080 comes with 8 GB VRAM and is a monster when it comes to gaming. We can see a considerable boost in the frame rates Vs. The last Gen Nvidia RTX 2070 and RTX 2080.
Powering the device is the new AMD Ryzen 5800Hs processor that comes with 8 Cores and 16 threads and is significantly faster than the Ryzen 4800Hs in single-core performance.
Notably, the Asus G15 will also be available with the Ryzen 5900Hs, which also come with 8 Cores and 16 threads but offers a slightly higher clock speed than the Ryzen 5800Hs.
Both these processors are based on 7 Nm technology and come with 35 Watts TDP that is lower than the standard 45 Watts TDP of processors like 5800H.
The ports section includes – 2*USB 3.2 Gen 2 Type-C, display port 1.4, HDMI 2.0, 3.5 mm combo jack, and an RJ45 port. It supports Wi-Fi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0 for connectivity and will have three microphones with noise cancellation and six speakers.
Notably, the Zephyrus G15 comes with a bigger touchpad – 20% more precise compared to its predecessor, launched in Jan 2020.
Yet, Asus did not confirm the launch date, but rumors that it may announce it along with the launch of the AMD Ryzen 5000H series mobile processor.
Notably, the top variants with the Ryzen 5900Hs will cost close to USD 2499 or INR – 210,000 in India.

Asus ROG Zephyrus G15 (2020)
The Asus G15 2020 (GA502IV-AZ040T) gaming laptop loaded with AMD Ryzen 9 Octa-core processor was launched last year (2020), and it is available for purchase in the US and in the Indian market.
As the name depicts, it has a 15-inch screen.
Let’s discuss the specification details:
The Asus G15 comes with a boxy look and has a design quite similar to the G14 and other Asus gaming laptops.
The G15 comes with 15.6 inches FHD LED Backlit Anti-glare IPS display with a 240 Hz refresh rate.
It has 300 nits brightness, 3 ms response time (G2G), 1000:1 contrast ratio, 72% color gamut, and 100% sRGB. The laptop has a Full HD 1920*1080 pixels display with 141 PPI.
