The earlier peak temperature we were getting at the stock clock with Intel Cooler was around 71-73 Degree Celsius, and very high-pitched noise from the CPU fan.
We chose Crysis 3 to show the results as it is one of the games which pushes the processor and GPU to limits.

Also, it will be worth noting we are using a Cooler Master HAF 912 Cabinet and 3 Fans in the cabinet for good Airflow inside the cabinet.
There is a reasonable reduction of Max temperature from 47 degrees to 40 degrees while surfing the internet.
We are thrilled with the temperature and near-silent working of Cooler Master Hyper 212X while playing one of the most punishing gaming titles(Crysis3). The Max temperature reduced from 72 degrees Celsius to 61 degrees Celsius. Most importantly, the Avg temperature declined from Stock Intel Cooler’s 67 degrees Celsius to only 54 degrees Celsius using the Cooler Master Hyper 212X.

We got a maximum temperature of only 68 degrees Celsius on the GPU( Stock fan speed and clocks), thanks to the excellent Airflow we created inside the cabinet using cabinet Fans.

Overall – I hope you gained some insights about how the Cooler Master Hyper 212 X works and the benefits you can get from an aftermarket cooler like hyper 212X or any other processor cooler.
In comparison to the Intel Stock Cooler, we were able to reduce the temperature by 11 degrees Celsius! Also, noise levels are greatly reduced. The Intel Stock Cooler fan is small and runs at a very high RPM to keep the processor cool. The Cooler Master Hyper 212X comes with Dual 120 mm fans that are near silent and help reduce the overall noise from the PC.
I would rate the product very well in build quality and performance. The processor is bulky and may not fit into smaller PC cabinets. You should opt for a single fan liquid cooler for smaller cases to get the best cooling.
The installation is a little tricky for the first-time buyer and may take some time to fit; however, if you follow the procedure and reference manual and videos and images I have shared, you will be able to install it easily.
