HP Victus Gaming Laptops Powered by Ryzen 5/7, RTX 3060

HP Victus Laptops launched in India with Ryzen 5600H / 5800H AMD Ryzen Processor and NVIDIA GPU:

We are familiar with the HP Omen Gaming laptops or the more affordable HP Pavilion gaming laptops.

Now HP has added a new laptop series loaded with the latest and fastest AMD Ryzen processors and new 3000 series NVIDIA graphics cards.

Let’s discuss the features and specifications offered by the Victus series laptops:

The HP Victus is available in two configurations. We will first check the models’ similarities and state the differences.

The HP Victus has a similar design to the Omen series, which looks subtle and classy.

The new HP Victus 16 laptops come with 16.1 inches FHD (1920*1080p) display with IPS panel technology. It sports an edge-to-edge screen, 144 Hz refresh rate, up to 300 nits peak brightness, 139 PPI, and 45% NTSC color gamut.

It is a good display for gaming, considering the high refresh rate. However, what’s unimpressive is the 45% NTSC color gamut making it less color accurate and not suitable for content creators.

In addition, it pairs up to 16 GB DDR4 (3200 MHz) RAM – can be upgradable up to 32 GB. It has 512 GB PCIe NVMe TLC M.2 SSD (Blazing fast) for storage. As we know, AMD Ryzen prefers 3200 Mhz or more clock speed when it comes to Ram and

The notebooks run Windows 10 Home operating system with lifetime validity. It has a free upgrade to Windows 11 (when available) and pre-installed Microsoft Office Home and Student 2019.

Furthermore, it has built-in Alexa so that you can command your laptop whenever you require it. To enjoy the audio, it has sound by B&O technology.

The stunning HP Victus machine comes with a fully-function Backlit keyboard with NumPad.

Lastly, the port section includes – 3* USB Type-A, USB 3.2 Gen1 Type-C, HDMI 2.1, RJ-45, a combo headphone/microphone jack, and a media card reader. For wireless connectivity, it supports WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.2.

Moreover, the cooling system has enhanced thermal solutions that prevent overheating and let you enjoy a long gaming session or work on massive rendering.

The gaming laptops weigh 2.48 kg and measure a dimension of 370*262*24 mm.

Considering the price – the HP Victus offer plenty to the buyers and is a decent option.

  • Graphics Card – NVIDIA GeForce RTX 3060 GPU with 6 GB GDDR6 VRAM

  • The display is average – only 45% NTSC Color Gamut.
  • The laptop weighs 2.48 Kg, is bulky, and is difficult to carry.
  • There are only 512 GB of space which is less for most gamers.
