All the S22 variants run Android 12 OS and Samsung One UI 4.1. One of the significant highlights for the phones is 4 years of OS updates and 5 years of security patches. This is the best software upgrade promise by any company in the Android ecosystem.

Undoubtedly, the Samsung S22 series will do incredibly well in the market with excellent specs, features, and prolonged software updates. However, there is nothing break-through if you already own a premium device from the last generation; You may not have a compelling need to upgrade this year. Considering all of the above S22+ seems like the best of the lot. The Galaxy S22 suffers from poor battery life and the S22 Ultra may be too huge and heavy for most users.
