Let’s check out the latest smartphones in the Vivo X Series with price, specs, launch date, and features. The Vivo X Series is the most premium line of phones from the brand and they offer top-of-the-line specs and camera capabilities.

Vivo has recently launched the Vivo X60, X60 Pro, and X60 Pro+ phones in the Chinese market, and they can soon land on Indian soil.

On 25 March 2021, Vivo launched its new X-Series smartphone in India – Vivo X60, Vivo X60 Pro, and the X60 Pro+.

This series comes with some amazing specs and features and one of those is virtual RAM support. While doing multitasking and enjoying heavy gaming if your RAM gets full then by enabling the virtual RAM your device uses 3GB of phone storage as a temporary RAM.

Display – The X60 has a 6.56 inch AMOLED punch hole notch display, FHD+ (2376*1080) pixels resolution along a 120Hz refresh rate.

The phone also has an 87.4% screen-to-body ratio and 398ppi pixel density.

Processor and Operating system – Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 Octa-Core processor and the Adreno 650 GPU. The mobile is capable of playing all modern games like COD, Battlegrounds India on high FPS with high details.

The Vivo X60 operates on Funtouch OS 1.1 based on the latest Android 11 operating system.

Variants – It comes in the following variants:

  • With 8 GB RAM & 128GB onboard storage.
  • With 8 GB RAM & 256GB onboard storage.
  • With 12 GB RAM & 256GB onboard storage.

But, the phone comes without expandable storage support.

Camera details – At the rear, it has a beautiful Triple camera setup, including a 48MP standard camera, 13MP ultrawide angle lens, and a 13MP portrait camera that provides you the Panorama, HDR-like features along with 4K video shooting support at 30frames/second.

Additionally, it offers a high-quality 32MP front-facing camera for selfies.

The base variant in India is Rs 37,990, and the price of the high-end variant is Rs 41,990. There is a price correction and the Vivo X60 price is now reduced to Rs. 34,990, a much better deal for buyers.

Design – The Vivo X60 Pro has a curved display offering a premium look.

Variants – The Vivo X60 Pro is available in only 1 variant in India – With 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 onboard storage support and also without expandable storage support.

Camera – There is a minor difference in terms of camera that the 48MP main camera of the Vivo X60 Pro comes with an aperture of f/1.5. Also, we are getting the Gimbal Stabilization for very steady videos.

This is a big deal; the camera performance on the X60 Pro is incredible and way better than rivals like Oneplus 9R and OnePlus 9.

Battery – The Vivo X60 Pro gets demoted in terms of battery. It offers a 4200mAH battery capacity that supports 33 Watts fast charging.

Price – The Vivo X60 Pro comes with a price tag of Rs 49,990.

Vivo X60 Pro + – Ultimate Flagship


Display – The Vivo X60 Pro+ has a 6.56-inch AMOLED panel with a centered punch-hole display, FHD+ (2376*1080) pixels resolution along with a 120Hz refresh rate.

It also has an 89.8% screen-to-body ratio, 1300nits(Peak brightness), and a 398ppi pixel density.

Processor and Operating system – The X60 Pro+ is powered by a flagship Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Octa-Core Processor(5nm) coupled with an Adreno 660 GPU.

The little brother of X60 Pro+ that is Vivo X60 is packed with same 5nm chipset but the AnTuTu score of the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 is greater than the Samsung Exynos 1080 processor. So, it implies that the performance of the Vivo X60 Pro+ is also good than the Vivo X60.

Talking about the operating system, the X60 runs on an OriginOS 1.0 based on the latest Android 11.

Variants – It is available in the two variants in China:

  • With 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
  • With 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

Like its junior X-series phone, it also does not support expandable storage.

Camera Details – It offers a Quad camera setup at the rear having a 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide angle lens, a 32MP telephoto lens, and an 8MP periscope telephoto lens.

The Vivo X60 Pro is launched today (29 December 2020) in China. The smartphone comes with a brand new Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset.

For a Slim and a stunning body, the phone comes with a glass back along with an aluminum frame.

The phone offers a 6.56 inch HDR10+ AMOLED Dot-notch display FHD+(2376*1080) resolution with 90.1% screen-to-body ratio and 398ppi pixel density.

For a smooth scrolling experience, It offers a 90Hz refresh rate.

The thickness of the phone is 7.6mm and it weighs just 178gram. The X60 Pro is a sleek phone, unlike the large bricks with a 6000 or 7000 mAH capacity battery.

It only comes in two variants:

  1. 8 GB RAM size and 128GB internal storage at CNY 3,999 (roughly 45,000).
  2. 12 GB RAM size and 256GB internal storage at CNY 4,498 (roughly Rs 51,000).

The latest Samsung Exynos 1080 chipset(5nm). It is an Octa-Core processor with a 2.8 GHz clock speed.

The phone operates on an Android 11 along with OriginOS.

At the rear, It has a Quad camera setup (40MP primary camera + 13MP portrait + 13MP ultrawide + 8MP telephoto lens), PDAF, Blur mode, wide view, HDR, and up to 4K video shooting.
