Lenovo has recently launched the most anticipated Notebook – Lenovo ThinkPad X1 Nano. As per the company, this laptop is the lightest ThinkPad ever launched.

It weighs less than 1 kg.

It is powered by Intel’s latest 11th Generation – Tiger Lake processor and is part of Intel’s Evo program. The laptop also supports Dolby Vision and Dolby Atmos to offer exceptional visual and sound quality.

The Thinkpad has a choice for touch and non-touch display.

X1 Nano is the first ThinkPad with an update of AI and biometric ThinkShield security specialties.

Notably, the X1 Nano’s price starts at USD 1399 (approx. INR 1,02,299).

It will soon go on sale in many countries.

However, the company has not announced the availability of the ThinkPad X1 Nano in India. Let’s hope to have it soon!

Powering the ThinkPad is Intel’s new 10nm based 11th Gen processor. You can configure it up to Core-i7. Also, there is improved graphics capabilities, thanks to the Intel Iris Xe GPU.

The laptop can be pre-loaded with Windows 10 Pro or Ubuntu Linux OS.

Notably, the screen has a 16:10 aspect ratio that is excellent for reading and editing documents.

The laptop comes with a 13 inches 2K display with a 2160 * 1350 pixels resolution along with Dolby Vision.

2. Lenovo ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 and ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 (Tiger Lake)

Lenovo has upgraded its E-series Thinkpad with the new and powerful Intel 11th Gen processor. So definitely it will include Thunderbolt 4.

These Notebooks are for the one who’s looking for the budget-oriented and performance-oriented laptops.

The only thing that disappoints in E-series is the inferior display, as it had 250 cd/m2 brightness and around 60% sRGB coverage.

With the latest launch, Lenovo has decided to fix this drawback in the Thinkpad E-series.

Notably, the new E14 Gen 2 and E15 Gen 2 ThinkPads will have a better display that will combine 300 cd/m2 brightness with FHD panel and offer 100% sRGB coverage.

The screen will be standard for E15 while optional for E14.

Both the ThinkPads will be carrying the Intel’s latest 10nm based 11th Gen processor (Tiger Lake ) to offer far better single-core and graphics performance.

Earlier, Lenovo released the E14 with AMD Ryzen 4000, but now the company has decided to move from AMD to Intel Tiger Lake.

Though AMD Ryzen is known for its best multi-core performance, the Tiger Lake is the real powerhouse when it comes to the integrated graphics performance.

The latest ThinkPads with the updated screen will be available at a base price of $699 (INR 51,299).

It is quite affordable at least in the US we can expect a 25% mark-up in the Indian price.

Both the ThinkPads are available in Black and Mineral metallic color.

Let’s check out the specifications for ThinkPad E14 Gen 2 and ThinkPad E15 Gen 2 loaded with Intel’s 11th Gen Processor (Tiger Lake):

Both the machines can also come with the latest NVIDIA MX450 GPU with 2GB GDDR5 VRAM.

The E14 has 14 inches screen size while the E15 comes with 15 inches. Both have an FHD IPS panel with 300 nits brightness and 100% sRGB coverage.

As far as the storage is concerned, ThinkPads comes with up to 2 TB M.2 PCIe NVMe Dual SSD.

You can configure it up to 32 GB DDR4 RAM with a 2666 MHz frequency rate.

The battery lasts for a maximum of 8 hours (as per Lenovo) with a 45 WHr battery (not too big) with Type-C 45W fast charging support.

They have an HD + IR camera with ThinkShutter. The Notebooks have 2 * 2 W stereo speakers.

The ThinkPads have a full-size Backlit keyboard that is an absolute treat to type on.

Additionally, they comprise Thunderbolt 4.0, a USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 2.0, HDMI 4.1, RJ45, and 3.5 mm combo jack.

Besides this, the E15 includes two extra ports, likewise USB 3.2 Gen 1 Type-C and DP 1.2.

The connectivity section involves Intel’s WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

There is not a big difference in the weight as E14 weighs 1.5 kg while E15 weighs 1.7 kg.

3. Lenovo ThinkPad T14s with AMD Ryzen:

Let’s take a glimpse at Lenovo T-series ThinkPad T14s, which comes with a robust AMD Ryzen 4000 processor.

This processor is best known for its efficiency and performance.

Specifications details for Lenovo ThinkPad T14s:

The ThinkPad T14s comes with 14 inches FHD IPS anti-glare display. It has a 1920 * 1080 pixels resolution and is available with different panels that come with up to 400 nits of max brightness.

Powering the Notebook is AMD Ryzen 5 PRO 4650U (6 Cores) or you can get the more powerful Ryzen 7 PRO 4750U (8 Core) processor.

Lenovo ThinkPad X13 is more affordable in comparison to other ThinkPads. The ThinkPad comes loaded with the 3rd Gen AMD Ryzen 4000 series processor. The surpassing feature of this small laptop is productivity performance and a comfortable keyboard.
