Lenovo Yoga lineup – India Launch – Specs, Price & Top Features

The new Notebooks from Lenovo in the Yoga series are – Lenovo Yoga 7, Yoga Slim 7, Yoga 6, Yoga 9i, Lenovo Yoga 7i, Lenovo Yoga 7i Pro.

These are ideal Touch screen notebooks with a thin and sleek design that offer excellent performance and user experience.

We will talk about each of these new Notebooks in this article and share key specs, features, price, and buying advice.

Let’s start with the latest Lenovo Yoga 6.

Lenovo Yoga 6 (2-in-1) – Powered by Ryzen 4000

Lenovo has expanded its Hybrid Yoga series in India with the new (2-in-1) Lenovo Yoga 6 laptop. The company unveiled the device on 4th March, Thursday.

Let’s dive into the specification, features, and details for the new Lenovo convertible.

The Yoga 6 comes with a 13.3 inches screen with FHD (1920 * 1080p ) resolution, 300 nits peak brightness, and 72% NTSC color gamut.

It has an IPS touchscreen panel and supports a digital pen with up to 4,096-level pressure sensitivity. The Notebook is a convertible with a 360-degree hinge, to work as a tablet and also provides Stylus support.

The laptop has a unique fabric-wrapped textile cover. It is available in Abyss Blue color.

Powering the machine is the 8 Core AMD Ryzen 7 4700U – which clocks at 2.0 GHz with a 4.1 GHz turbo boost. The Ryzen 4700U is an excellent processor and is ideal for multitasking.

It has an integrated AMD Radeon graphics card that can easily run casual games and Apps like Photoshop. It runs on Windows 10 Home operating system.

Further, the laptop has up to 16 GB DDR4 Ram and 512 GB PCIe M.2 SSD.

The sound quality is rich, and the machine comes with Dolby Atmos dual stereo speakers.

The not-so-impressive 1 MP camera has a Lenovo TrueBlock privacy shutter, IR Camera, and dual microphone.

The laptop packs a 60 WHr battery – claimed to run up to 18 hours on a single charge. In real-world daily use, it may last 7-9 hours.

The notebook weighs 1.32 kg and measures 308 * 206 * 17.1-18.3 mm.

The ports include 2*USB Gen1 Type-A, 2* USB Gen1 Type-C, 3.5 mm headphone and microphone combo.

Additionally, we have got modern connectivity options – WiFi 6 and Bluetooth 5.0.

The Lenovo Yoga laptop has a Backlit keyboard with a Fingerprint scanner. The other notable features comprise of Lenovo Q-Control system.

The laptop is available for pre-order for a starting price of ₹ 81,990.

Lenovo has launched new Yoga and IdeaPad series laptops – loaded with Intel’s 11th generation CPU (Tiger Lake) in India.

Intel is still the preferred brand for a lot of OEMs despite being dumped by Apple for its latest Macbooks. AMD is doing great with the Ryzen 4000 and Ryzen 5000 series of processors.

Intel has also done well with the 11th Gen processors that come with significant improvement to the single-core performance.

The Lenovo Ideapad Slim 5i is the entry-level laptop whereas, the 9i, 7i, and 7i Pro are the premium ones.

Lenovo Yoga 7 laptop with Intel 11th gen

Lenovo Yoga 7 laptop is updated with the latest and powerful Intel 11th gen processor.

This touch screen laptop is available in India on the online platform Amazon India with a price tag of INR 1,04,990 in Slate color.

The notebook arrives with 14 inches FHD (1920*1080p) touch-enabled display with IPS technology. It has 300 nits brightness and 72% NTSC color gamut.

The display is made from the AGC Dragontail glass.

It runs on Windows 10 Home with lifetime validity.

Powering the machine is the Intel 11th gen Tiger Lake Core i7-1165G7processor that clocks at 2.8 GHz and has a maximum frequency of 4.7 GHz. It has 4 core /8 threads architecture and 12 MB cache. For graphics, it has an integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics card.

Additionally, it pairs 16 GB DDR4 RAM (3200 MHz) and 512 GB SSD storage.

It has pre-loaded Windows 10 Home (lifetime validity).

The notebook is powered by the incredibly powerful AMD 4th Gen Ryzen 7 4800U processor. It has a 1.8 GHz base clock and a 4.2 GHz maximum frequency. Also, consists of 8 cores and 8 MB of cache memory. The graphics card used is an integrated AMD Radeon GPU.

Further, it packs 8 GB LPDDR4X RAM (4266 MHz).

For storage, it has 512 GB SSD storage.

If you are looking for a more premium offering from Lenovo – the Yoga Slim 7 Carbon is an excellent choice.

The Lenovo Yoga Slim 7 Carbon laptop is driven by the latest Intel 11th Gen Core i7-1165G7 processor – clocks at 2.8 GHz and has a 4.7 GHz maximum frequency.

It has 4 cores, a 12 MB cache, and an integrated Intel Iris Xe graphics card.

The Notebook runs on Windows 10 Home (Lifetime Validity) operating system.

There is a 13.3 inches screen that comes with Quad HD (2560*1600p) anti-glare IPS panel technology with 300 nits peak brightness and 100% sRGB color gamut.

Lenovo Yoga 7i Laptop – Specification details

Lenovo Yoga 7i arrives in two screen sizes – 14 and 15.6 inches. It sports a Full HD (1920*1080 pixel) IPS touchscreen display with 500 nits peak brightness.

It is great that Lenovo is offering a 500 nits display as a lot of other brands offer a 200 or 300 nits display that is hard to use outdoors.

A 360-degree hinge that can allow you to use it as a tablet.

The Intel 11th gen (Tiger Lake) Core i7- 1165G7 processor is driving the laptop with 4 cores/8 threads and 12MB cache.

It clocks up to 4.70 GHz. It runs on Windows 10 Home.

Lenovo Yoga 7i laptop with Tiger Lake

The device pairs up to 16 GB DDR4 RAM (3200 MHz) and up to 1 TB NVMe SSD. It owns Intel Iris Xe graphics. The key features are almost similar to that of the 9i.

The machine is backed up by a massive 71 Whr battery that claims to run for up to 16 hours on a single charge – supports rapid charging. It has a backlit keyboard.

The battery capacity is huge on this machine and in practical use, it can easily last for 10 hours.

Moreover, it features a webcam with a TrueBlock privacy shutter and four speakers powered by Dolby Atmos.

The ports comprise 2* USB 3.1 Gen 1, USB 3.2 Gen2 Type-A, and a headphone/microphone combo jack.

The starting price for Lenovo Yoga 7i in India is INR 99,000 and is available in Slate Grey shade.

The price is also not unreasonable considering Lenovo’s specs and features on this machine.

Lenovo Yoga 7i Pro Laptop -launches soon in India:

Lenovo Yoga Slim 7i Pro substitutes an OLED display that delivers a contrast ratio 667 times over an LCD panel.

If you want to have an incredible display to watch videos and binge web series this can be an ideal machine for you.

The 14 inches laptop loads Tiger Lake process and Intel Iris Xe graphics.

Lenovo Yoga 7i laptop with Tiger Lake

It has a 2K OLED (2880*1800) display with a 16:10 aspect ratio and a 90 Hz refresh rate. Lenovo has used the display manufactured by Samsung. The display has an accurate color profile and offers deeper blacks.

It has a 100% DCI-P3 and 125% sRGB color gamut.

The machine is powered by Intel 11th gen Core-i7 processor with Intel Iris Xe or NVIDIA GeForce MX450 GPU.

It runs on Windows 10 Home.

It packs up to 16 GB RAM and up to 1 TB PCIe SSD.

Lenovo has not yet launched the Yoga 7i Pro in India, but we can expect the brand to launch in the coming weeks.

Lenovo Yoga 9i – Specification & Details:

Lenovo Yoga 9i comes with 14 inches UHD (3840*2160 pixels resolution) IPS display. It has a peak brightness of 500 nits and a 90% DCI-P3 spectrum. The laptop has a 360-degree hinge that keeps it flat on the surface or to use as a tablet.

It is one of the best displays that you can get on a Windows 10 machine and rivals the likes of XPS 13.

Lenovo Yoga 9i 14 inches

The cutting-edge Intel 11th Gen processor is Powering the device- Core i7-1185G7 clocked at 3.0 GHz with up to 4.80 GHz turbo boost.

The processor has 4 cores/8 threads and a 12 MB cache and is based on a 10 nm Super Fin process.

The graphics card carried by the Yoga-9i is Intel Iris Xe Graphics. There is no dedicated graphics card, but the new Intel Iris Xe Graphics boasts of a 100% increase in performance over the Intel UHD GPU used in the 10th Gen Intel Processors.

The Notebook runs on Windows 10 Pro; you can even configure it using the Windows 10 Home edition.

Furthermore, it has 16 GB DDR4 RAM and up to 1TB of SSD storage.

The laptop has a large 60 Whr battery and has been equipped with an ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, smart senor touchpad, and a True Strike Keyboard with a backlight.

For sound, it has four Dolby Atmos speakers (2-woofers and 2-tweeters) with a rotating soundbar.

The 1-megapixel web camera comes with a privacy shutter.

You can also use this machine for creative work, and it comes with Pen. The pen with an Elastometer nib is included, and there is no need to purchase that separately.

There is a dedicated slot on the laptop to carry the pen.

Lenovo Yoga 9i’s starting price in India is INR 1,60,990 and is available in a single Black color option. The price is a bit steep considering the Apple Macbook Pro M1 is cheaper than this machine and also comes with a students discount and other offers.

The Yoga 9i is already available for purchase starting the 12th of January and can purchase from all the online and offline retailers.
