Realme has launched 3 new smartphones in the Indian market – Realme GT 2, Realme GT 2 Pro, and the Realme GT Neo 3. Let’s check out the Specs, Prices, Features & Pros, and Cons for each smartphone.

Realme GT Neo 3 – Price Rs. 36,990, Launch Date – May 2022

The Realme GT Neo 3 was announced at the MWC 2022, and it comes with one of the fastest charging techs that we have seen so far. The smartphone boasts a 150 Watts charger capable of charging it from 0-50% in just 5 minutes.

The company shared that the temperatures are kept below 43 degrees celsius, and the battery lifespan has no detrimental effect from fast charging tech. It uses multi-boost charging pumps to improve the charging speeds.

The temperature algorithm works with the hardware to keep the temperature in check while charging.

Realme has launched the GT NEO 3 (5G) smartphone in India. The 5G variant of Realme 3 will be available in May 2022.

Realme GT NEO 3 (5G) is a flagship smartphone from Realme. It comes with a 6.7-inch Full HD+ OLED display with a resolution of 2412 x 1080 pixels and a 120 Hz refresh rate. The device runs on the Android 12 operating system with Realme UI 3.0 on top.

The Realme GT NEO 3 (5G) is powered by Mediatek Dimensity 8100 processor and ARM Mali-G610 MC6 GPU for graphics performance. It also has 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage.

The smartphone comes with a triple rear camera setup with 50 MP primary camera (flagship-grade Sony IMX 766 sensor), 8 MP ultra wide and a 2 MP depth sensor. For clicking selfies the device has a 16 MP front camera.

Lastly, the phone comes with a large 5000 mAH capacity battery along with 80 Watts Fast Charging support.

Realme has also launched a GT Neo 3 150 Watts Charging variant that comes with 4500 mAH capacity battery and has 150 Watts fast charging support. The GT Neo 3 (150 Watts) is available for Rs. 42,990 (12 GB ram and 256 GB storage).

It is the fastest charging smartphone even faster than the XIaomi 11i Hypercharge that comes with 120 Watts Charging support.

Recommendation – The Realme Neo 3 GT is an excellent smartphone from the brand. It ticks a lot of right boxes and comes with a fast processor and decent primary camera. Secondary cameras could have been better, even the selfie camera can be tuned to click better images. Oveall it is a decent phone for the price.

Realme GT 2 – Price Rs. 34,990, Launch Date – May 2022

The Realme GT 2 comes with a 6.62 Inch E4 Super AMOLED display with FHD+ (2400*1080) pixels resolution. The display has 1300 nits of peak brightness and a 120 Hz Panel.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 Octa-Core processor and the Adreno 660 GPU power the device. This year the SD 888 is used in many phones, instead of the current Qualcomm flagship SD 8 Gen 1 processor.

The smartphone boasts of triple rear cameras – the primary camera uses the Sony IMX 766 sensor and has 50 MP resolution, the second camera comes with an 8 MP ultra-wide lens, and the third lens is a 2MP shooter. We have seen Realme using the same primary camera in the newly launched Realme 9 Pro+. For selfies, there is a 16 MP punch hole camera.

The Realme GT2 runs on Android 12 and has the Realme UI 3.0 skin. The company is touting 3 years of OS updates and 4 years of security updates for both devices. The mobile is available with up to 256 GB internal storage and 12 GB ram.

It comes with an in-display fingerprint scanner and supports 5G, 4G, Bluetooth 5.2, WIFI 6, and has a USB TYPE-C port.

The Realme GT has a 5000 mAH capacity battery and offers 65 Watts SuperDart Charging. Lastly, the phone weighs 195 grams and has 8.6 mm thickness.

Price – The GT 2 with 8 GB Ram and 128 GB storage costs – EUR 549 or Rs. 34,990 The GT 2 series is available in paper green, steel black, and paperwhite colors.

Recommendation – The Realme GT 2 comes with an elegant design and has blazing fast performance. The smartphone comes with latest OS and has decent hardware. The secondary cameras, selfie camera could have been better. Overall a good device for daily use and even gaming.

Realme GT 2 Pro – Price Rs. 49,990 (8 GB Ram and 128 GB Storage)

The GT 2 Pro is an exciting offering from the brand and has many upgrades over the vanilla GT 2 and even the GT 3 Neo. Let’s look at the key specs and features for the Realme GT 2 Pro.

The Pro variant comes with a paper finish bio-material design to reduce carbon emissions, according to the company. The company is optimistic and targets to ship close to 10 Million Realme GT devices worldwide this year.

For starters, we have got a stunning looking 6.7-inch 2K (3,216*1,440 pixels) LTPO 2.0 AMOLED display. The display has a 10 Bit color depth and a 120Hz adaptive refresh rate (1–120Hz). The peak brightness is 1400 nits, and it comes with HDr10+ support. Lastly, the panel is protected by the latest Corning Gorilla Glass Victus to prevent any damage. Realme is calling the display one of the most advanced panels on any smartphone.

Powering the device is the Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Gen1 Processor, and there are up to 12 Gigs of ram to ensure blazing fast performance. Also, there is a sizeable nine-layered vapor chamber cooling solution to ensure you get the best-sustained performance while gaming. It runs on Android 12 along with the Realme UI 3.0.

For imaging, the smartphone comes with a Sony IMX 766 sensor with a 50 MP lens, the second lens is a 50 MP Ultra-wide shooter, and the third lens is a 2 MP depth sensor. The GT 2 Pro comes with a 32 MP punch hole camera for selfies.

Price – The GT 2 Pro with 8 GB Ram and 128 GB storage costs – EUR 749 or Rs. 49,990 and the 12 GB + 256 GB version costs close to Rs. 57,990 (EUR 849).

The new Realme GT2 Pro is an excellent flagship smartphone and comes with features that will excite a lot of buyers.

Recommendation – The Realme GT 2 Pro comes with an elegant design and has blazing fast performance. Undoubtedly, it has the best display with QHD+ resolution and comes with excellent pair of rear cameras. The company could have given a telephoto lens instead of the gimmicky 2 MP camera. Overall, it is the best phone in the lot and if money is not a big hurdle can opt for the true flagship.
