Xiaomi has launched the new Mi 11 series in China at the live event on 29 March 2021.

Now the latest news suggests that the Mi 11 Ultra will launch in India and the phone will be fully imported from China and will not be a made-in-India device. Also, based on the NDTV gadgets report the phone can cost an excess of Rs. 70,000 in India.

Xiaomi has launched 3 new phones in the Mi 11 series – Mi 11 Lite, Mi 11 Pro, and Mi 11 Ultra. The company has previously launched the Mi 11 in China.

It is yet not clear when the brand will bring the Mi 11, Mi 11 Lite, or Mi 11 Pro to India. We will update as more information is available.

Xiaomi Mi 11 Lite

Mi 11 Lite is the most affordable smartphone of this series in China and also has some amazing features let’s have a look.

The Mi 11 Lite comes with a 6.55 inch AMOLED left align punch hole notch display along with an FHD+(2400*1080)pixels resolution including a 20:9 aspect ratio, 800nits brightness, and 402ppi pixel density.

Furthermore, it also offers a 90Hz refresh rate and corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.

Powering the Mi 11 Lite smartphone is a Qualcomm Snapdragon 732G octa-core processor fabricated on an 8nm chipset that comes along with an Adreno 618 GPU.

The device operates on an MIUI 12 based on the latest Android 11 operating system.

It  is available in the following variants in China:

  • 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
  • 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.

Additionally, it has expandable storage support using a shared SIM slot.

For imaging and videography, the mobile has a Triple camera setup at the rear including a 64MP(f/1.8) main camera, an 8MP(f/2.2) 119-degree ultrawide angle lens, and a 5MP(f/2.4) macro lens.

Additionally, it has a 16MP(f/2.5) selfie camera.

The phone weighs 157 grams(lightweight) and a thickness of 6.8mm(slim and sleek).

For unlocking and security, the Mi 11 Lite comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor.

Lastly, the phone comes with a decent 4250mAH battery capacity along with a 33 Watts fast charging support.

The starting price of the Mi 11 Lite in China is CNY 2,299(roughly Rs 25,500).

Mi 11 Pro

Mi 11 Pro is the second smartphone of the Mi 11 series. Let’s take a look at its key features:

It will come in the following variant in China:

  • 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage.
  • 8GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage.
  • 12GB RAM and 512GB onboard storage.

Furthermore, the phone does not have expandable storage support.

The mobile comes with a 6.81-inch WQHD+( 3200*1440 ) AMOLED display screen along with a 120Hz refresh rate.

Further, the Mi 11 Pro weighs 208 grams makes it lightweight and a thickness is 8.5mm makes it slim and sleek.

For imaging, It has a Quad camera setup at the rea including a 50MP(f/2.0) main camera, a 13MP(f/2.4) 123-degree ultrawide angle lens, and an 8MP periscope lens along with a 5x optical zoom.

For selfies, we get the front camera with 20MP.

It even has a USB Type-C port that comes with fast charging support

Besides,  there is a 5000mAh massive battery capacity along with 67 Watts Fast charging, 67 Watts Wireless charging support, and even has a 10 Watts reverse charging support.

The starting price of the smartphone in China is CNY 4,999(roughly Rs 55,400).

The Mi 11 ultra is powered by the Qualcomm Snapdragon 888 octa-core processor(5nm) along with an Adreno 660 GPU.

It offers a large 6.81 inch AMOLED punch hole notch display along with a QHD+(3200*1440)pixels resolution and 120Hz refresh rate.

There is also has a innovative tiny secondary screen on the rear of the phone that can display the content of the main screen.

Also, the company has shared the Mi 11 Ultra will launch in India and will be imported straight from China, rather than a Made in India phone.

Talking about its rear camera, it has a Triple camera setup including a Samsung ISOCELL GN2 50MP main camera, a 48MP ultrawide angle lens, and the last is a 48MP periscope telephoto lens that supports up to 120x zoom.

Additionally, the Mi 11 Ultra comes with a 20MP front-facing camera for selfies.

For unlocking and security, it has an under-display fingerprint sensor and a fast face unlocking system.

It weighs 234 grams (pretty heavy) and the thickness of the phone is 8.4mm.

The Mi 11 Ultra will be going water-resistant and dustproof, offers an IP68 rating.

Furthermore, the device is fueled with a 5000mAH battery capacity that supports 67 Watts super-fast charging, 67 Watts fast wireless charging, and 10 Watts reverse charging. It can charge to 100% in just 36 minutes.

Lastly, the starting price of the phone in China is CNY 5,999(roughly Rs 66,400). Based on the latest reports the smartphone will launch on Amazon India on 23rd April 2021 and is expected to launch for Rs. 69,990.
