Excellent background music, one of the best stories, and the graphics were unmatched when the game was released in 2001.
The game had many firsts; the bullet decals and shadows were highly detailed for the generation.
The game was a massive hit among the Gamers community back then. It was so engulfing that Gamers did not sleep before ending the game.
The story was fluent and the best experience in any game, even current generation games lack the kind of story flow that the original Max Payne had.
21. Max Payne 2 – The Fall of Max Payne
You can play this title if you like the original Max Payne game. The game is more like a continuation of the actual gaming title but lacks significant new elements.

19. Delta Force Black Hawk Down
The game was developed by Novalogic and is a first-person shooter video game set in the early 1990s during the Unified Task Force peacekeeping operation in Somalia.
The game was released in the year 2003 for the Windows platform.
The game had a medium success but is a good team game if you wish to play an F.P.S. shooter that you can run on a legacy computer or laptop.
It was the 6th game in the Delta Force Gaming Series created by Novalogic.
18. Project I.G.I. – I am Going In
One of the most challenging shootings and stealth games was released in 2000, on December 15. The developer was Innerloop studios, and the publisher was Eidos Interactive.
The game was an instant hit worldwide when it got released and had one of the most realistic gameplay, and the artificial intelligence of the CPU players was significantly improved.
The main character is Jones, an officer in I.G.I. (Institute for Geotactical Intelligence) and a former British S.A.S. operator.
Players control him as the main character. He goes in like Rambo and kills all the bad guys with stealth and brute force, whichever works better.
17. I.G.I. 2 Covert Strike
Unlike most second games in the series, which fall short of the expectations, the Covert Strike was an exception.
The game was a great sequel and was praised for its interactive sound, better graphics, AI, and gameplay.
The concept was similar to what we saw in the original I.G.I., but the level of missions and gameplay was at least two times better.
A tremendous tactical shooter to play on any P.C. or laptop. Codemasters made it and was released in 2003, on March 3.

Counter-Strike Source was developed in the year 2004.
This is one of the most successful games ever made and estimated sales are around 35 million copies of all the games in the series have been sold.
The concept is straightforward; the game is set in various rounds where players assume the roles of combating teams that include counter-terrorists and terrorists.
During each round of gameplay, the two teams battle in the round, and the winning team is awarded more cash.
The game has been a phenomenal success for the LAN parties, and online play with friends can keep you busy for hours.

Age of Empires III is a real-time strategy video game developed by Microsoft Corporation’s Ensemble Studios and published by Microsoft Game Studios.

The AOE-3 begins with players developing the town center, building and developing the resources in the city, and battle with each other to capture and expand the horizon of their kingdom.

The game was a massive success and was greatly appreciated for the sound and AI which was incredibly smart for the year it was released.
The computer-operated players were brilliant, and the strategic moves they made were brilliant, which made the gameplay more gripping.

The game is based on creating an empire across medieval Europe, North Africa, and the Middle East.
It focuses on the warfare, religion, and politics of the time.
