Vivo iQOO 3 5G Smartphone – SD 865, 12 GB RAM Coming to India

A new super exciting mobile brand is going to shake the premium smartphone market in India soon.

iQOO is the new sub-brand of Vivo that will launch in India soon. The first mobile from iQOO can launch in Feb/March 2020. Notably, the Vivo iQOO is a sub-brand like Realme was for Oppo but later Realme was made a separate brand.

Chinese mobile manufacturer Vivo has launched iQOO in China last year and has introduced several new phones under the banner. Now the company is bringing the iQOO brand to India with launch of a flagship phone.

iQOO 3 India launch

iQOO has already registered the name and launched the official website for India. However, it doesn’t have many details but shares that they are going to launch a new phone in India.

The launch page is already live on Flipkart and the mobile will unveil on 25th Feb in India.

Also, the brand has already started a Twitter handle and started posting teasers for the upcoming phone.

Recently Virat Kohli was seen with a new phone and also he collaborating with popular Youtube Technical Guruji for an upcoming new phone launch. It is imminent that the brand will launch the flagship device in India pretty soon.

Mr. Gagan Arora, Director of Marketing said, “We see extreme potential in the premium segment smartphone market in India and have deep-dived to understand the gap that the consumers face in this segment. We understand very closely that there is an increasing demand for performance delivery devices and smooth smartphone experience, be it using multiple apps, downloading heavy files or just social media.”

iQOO 3 Smartphone Specs and Expected Price

The first phone from iQOO is called as iQOO 3 and it will have the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and the Adreno 650 GPU, the brand confirmed on Twitter. Also, it will have 5G support as the Qualcomm SD 865 comes with a 5G modem. In-fact this can be the first 5G phone in India.

Furthermore, the brand is teasing that the new phone will sport liquid cooling and will be ideal for gamers and pro-users looking for unmatched performance.

It is not hard to assume that it will offer upto 12 GB LPDDR5 Ram as 8 GB has become standard and with 256 GB UFS 3.1 storage.

Further, it will come with a massive 4400 mAH capacity battery and a 55 Watts Fast Charger for best in class charging speed.

Another leak suggests that it will come with a 48 MP rear camera and will have a 16 MP front selfie shooter.

Apart from the flagship 5G smartphone, they will launch 4G phones in India.

Considering the pathetic state of telecom companies in India (debt-ridden due to the AGR verdict), the 5G network deployment is delayed. We can expect some metros to have 5G service in the next 2 years and it may take slightly longer for the non-metros and rural areas to have the facility.

So, that’s all about the iQOO India launch, will keep you posted. Share your thoughts in the comments.

Let me just take a minute to share with you how BBK electronics is capturing nearly 50% of the Indian mobile market.

BBK Electronics Saga

Oppo, Vivo, Oneplus, Realme and now the new iQOO brand of phones. The company plans to hit over 45% marketshare with all the 5 brands in the coming months.

In fact, every second phone Indians are buying is coming from BBK Electronics.

Moreover, the new iQOO will rival its own brand Oneplus in pricing and features but can also eat some share from Samsung and Apple in the premium market.

iQOO is also going to be an online-only brand initially and will have a tie-up with Amazon or Flipkart to sell the devices.

More competition and choices is always better for customers and we are excited to test the new iQOO mobile.
