5 Upcoming Xiaomi Smartphones – Mi 10T, K30, K30 Pro, Mi Note 10 Pro, Mi 10 Ultra, Mi A4

Update 10/October/2020 – Xiaomi is planning to launch 5 new exciting smartphones in India and China in the next couple of months.

Let’s start with the most anticipated Upcoming Xiaomi mobiles – the Xiaomi Mi 10T, Redmi K30, K30 5G, and the K30 Pro.

1.Xiaomi Mi T10 series smartphone:

Xiaomi took Twitter to officially unveil the Mi 10T 5G and Mi 10T 5G Pro smartphones on 30th September 2020. According to the company, the phones will be launch in India on October 15, 2020.

The latest smartphones run on the flagship Snapdragon 865 processor and have a large 6.67 inches display with long-lasting battery life.

The phones have almost similar features. They only differ in primary camera lens and storage options.

Specification for Xiaomi Mi 10T  Series:

The Mi10T comes with a 6.67 inches IPS LCD HDR10+ display. It has a 2400 * 1080 pixels resolution, up to 650 nits brightness, 144 Hz refresh rate, and 395 PPI.

Protecting the front and back glass is Corning Gorilla Glass 5. Both the device has an 85.2% screen to body ratio.

The Mi 10T weighs 216 g while with a slight difference, Mi 10T Pro weighs 218 g. They measure the dimension of 165.1 * 76.4 * 9.3 mm.

The phones have a side-mounted fingerprint scanner.

Powering the phones is the cutting edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 Octa-core chipset ( 7nm+) with a 2.84 GHz clock speed and has the Adreno 650 GPU. 

They run on MIUI 12 based Android 10 operating system.

As far as the memory is concerned, Mi T10 comes with 6 GB/ 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage whereas, Mi T10 Pro has memory variants likewise 8 GB RAM and 128 GB/ 256 GB storage space.

Both the smartphone does not contain a memory expansion slot.

For taking incredible photos, the smartphones sport a 20 MP front selfie camera with f/2.2 aperture.  The Mi T10 series phones come with a triple rear camera setup.

The only difference is the primary camera, while the rest of the lens has the same measurements where Mi T10  features 64 MP (f/1.9 aperture), and MiT10 Pro has a 108 MP (f/1.7 aperture) main primary lens.

The second camera lens for both the phones has a 13MP ultra-wide lens with f/2.4 aperture. The macro lens comes with 5 MP (f/2.4).

The latest Xiaomi phones pack a 5000 mAh battery with 33 W fast charging support.

Additionally, they support WIFI 6 and Bluetooth 5.1 for connectivity.

The Xiaomi Mi T10 5G phone is available in Cosmic Black and Lunar Silver color, with the starting price of  $586 ( roughly INR 42,999).

The Mi T10 Pro 5G comes in Cosmic Black, Lunar Silver, and Aurora Blue color with the base price of $686 (approx. INR 50,999).

1). Xiaomi Redmi K30 and K30 5G

Xiaomi launched the Redmi K20 and the K20 Pro in India on 24th July 2019, and on 10th December 2019, the company has launched the K30 and the K30 5G in China. 

We are expecting Xiaomi to launch the K30 in India in March 2020. However, the company will not launch the K30 5G in India as there is no 5G network provider.

One of the Redmi K30 series’ key highlights is the punch hole camera, similar to the Samsung Galaxy S10.

Also, both the phones come with a 120 Hz refresh rate display.  

Both the phones come with a Quad-Rear Camera setup. The K30 series debut the new 64-megapixel Sony IMX686 sensor as the primary rear camera with f/1.89 aperture, 1/1.7-inch sensor & 6P lens.

Key Upgrades for the Redmi K30 5G

The Redmi K30 5G comes with some upgrades in comparison to the Redmi K30.

The biggest upgrade is Qualcomm Snapdragon 765 5G chipset that comes with the X52 Modem-RF 5G System. 

The phone will offer 5G connectivity to the users.

It is the first smartphone to come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 765G chipset and the Adreno 620 GPU for gaming. 

The K30 5G comes with 64 MP + 8 MP + 5 MP + 2 MP setup as the macro lens is 5MP on the 5G model instead of 2 MP macro lens. 

Also, the 5G variant comes with 30 Watts Charger instead of 27 Watts on the 4G version. 

The price for the K30 5G starts at CNY 1999 or Rs. 20,200 for the 6 GB Ram and 64 GB base version.

The company has not launched the K30 Pro at the moment and may launch it later.

Notably, Asus is also planning to launch a new phone with the 64 MP camera.

2. Xiaomi Mi 10 Ultra:

Xiaomi has recently launched the new Mi 10 in China, but it has yet to launch the phone in the International market.

The company has also launched the Redmi K30 and the K30 Ultra in China to launch in India or other countries soon.

Xiaomi has launched several new phones to mark the 10th Anniversary of the company, but the most powerful smartphone is the Mi 10 Ultra.

The Mi 10 Ultra also comes with a unique transparent back cover that showcases the 50W wireless charging sensor and the NFC sensor with a 10th-anniversary sticker.

The phone offers 6.67 inches HDR10+ OLED capacitive touchscreen display. It has a 2340 * 1080 pixels resolution, 19.5:9 aspect ratio,386 PPI, 800 nits brightness, and up to 120Hz screen refresh rate. It has an in-display fingerprint sensor. 

Powering the phone is the cutting edge Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 (7nm) Octa-Core processor. It runs on MIUI 12 based Android 10 and GPU Adreno 650.

It weighs nearly 221g and has a thickness of 9.5mm. The phone is powered by a 4500 mAh and comes with an insanely fast 120W charger.

Notably, the memory alternative comes with four configurations likewise, 8GB/128GB, 8GB/256GB, 12GB/256GB, and 16GB/512GB. It has UFS 3.1 for fast file transfer.

The stand out feature for the Mi Note 10 ultra are its cameras. 

The camera setup involves a front camera of 20MP with f/2.3 aperture that can click detailed selfies. 

Also, we have got Quad rear cameras that include 48MP wide (f/1.9 aperture), 48MP periscope telephoto (f/4.1 aperture) with 5x optical zoom and 120x hybrid zoom. It has also got a dedicated 12MP telephoto (f/2.0 aperture) lens that can improve the portrait shots significantly, and lastly, it has also got a 20MP ultra-wide (f/2.2 aperture).

Clearly, Xiaomi is not cutting corners when it comes to adding cameras to this flagship device.  

The Mi 10 Ultra is available in Obsidian Black, Mercury Silver, and Transparent edition with a presumed starting price tag of roughly INR 57,990.

3). Xiaomi Redmi K30 Pro

The Xiaomi K30 Pro is similar to the K30 5G with few upgrades. It is likely to launch in China in March 2020 and may launch in India in May 2020.


The Redmi K30 Pro, as per the latest leaks, will use the Sony IMX 686, 64 MP primary camera. Xiaomi has used the same sensor in the POCO X2. The company can add a Zoom lens upto 5X optical zoom in the Quad-Rear camera setup.

Another big upgrade will be Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 processor and the Adreno 650 GPU that can make it a lot faster than the SD 765G used in the Redmi K30 5G.

Also, the Redmi K30 Pro offers 5G support and has an AMOLED display with a 60 Hz resolution. Fueling the device is the 4700 mAH capacity battery that comes with 33 Watts Fast Charger.

4). Xiaomi Mi Note 10 – 108 Megapixel Quad-Camera Phone

The highlight of the Mi Note 10 is presence of 108 Megapixel rear camera, a first on any mobile in the world.

Xiaomi has not only dominated China but also set a mark in the global market. On 13th Feb, Xiaomi introduced its flagship models Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro in China, while the global launch was scheduled near the month-end at the MWC.

But due to the unfortunate widespread of coronavirus, the event was canceled.

This keeps the Europian and Indian buyers still wondering about the detailed specs and actual price. Xiaomi will now reslate the global release of its much-awaited flagship models. Meanwhile, we will showcase the detailed specification, keeping actual pricing speculation as approximate as possible. The Pro version offers an edge over the camera set up and charging capabilities with not much to differ. 

Let us now discuss the features in detail.


Both the launches sport very similar hardware design. From curved edges, sleek glass back panels, top left situated punch-hole camera, a slightly pumped out camera set up at the back to the speakers sitting at the top and bottom of the phone.

Both phones offer complete similarity. With its trademark screen size of 6.67″, both phones have an AMOLED screen.

With skinny bezels and an 89.6% screen-to-body ratio, it becomes desirable and comfortable to use.

The screen resolution offered here is 1080*2340, with 386 PPI density. The aspect ratio is believed to be 19.5: 9.

HDR 10+ certified and a screen refresh rate of 90 Hz makes it super impressive for gaming and video perspective.

Color Variants:

Mi 10: Peach Gold, Green and Black

Mi 10 Pro: Blue and White


Vanilla Mi10 comes with 128 GB /256 GB internal storage and 8 GB/ 12 GB RAM. Pro, on the contrary, comes in three variants.

256 GB/ 8GB RAM, 256 GB/ 12 GB RAM and a massive 512 GB/ 12 GB RAM. Both the phones have superfast LPDDR 5 RAM and UFS 3.0 storage.

Chipset & OS

The processor and OS that runs on these phones are as follows:

Qualcomm Snapdragon 865 / Adreno 650 GPU – Octacore ( Kryo 585, primary core clocked at 2.84 GHz)(Kryo 585, Tricore clocked at 2.42 GHz) (Kryo 385, Quadcore clocked at 1.8 GHz)

The mobile runs on the MIUI 11 based on Android 10.


Both models are power-packed with strong and steady batteries. Pro boasts a 4500 mAh while mi 10 sports 4780 mAh. Now stay engaged on your phone, play games and more throughout the day without frequent charging hassle


The feature that makes Pro stand at par than the standard version is the proprietary fast-charging capacity. Pro supersedes with a superfast 50 W charger while the Mi10 also sports non-compromising 30 W charging. However, both versions have 30 W Wireless charging and 10 W reverse charging facilities. Another feature that makes it our favorite is the robust super VC Liquid Cooling.


According to DxO Mark, mi 10 Pro has the best cameras tested to date. The most impressive quad cameras, both the versions boast 108 MP Samsung ISOCell Bright HMX Sensor main camera( f/1.69 with a pixel size of 1.6 microns). However, other cameras have a different configuration on both phones. Features like digital zoom, autoflash, face detection, Touch-to-Focus, OIS, EIS, AI, Exposure Compensation, ISO Control, Timelapse, White balance presets have ben sensibly incorporated in these phones.

The 8k video recording is also available as in its worthy competition, the Samsung S20 series.

For the love of selfies, a front-facing 20 MP selfie snapper is given on both the phones. Considering its vast feature set, it surely is bound to give you amazing shots.

Mi 10 comes with a 13 MP ultra-wide camera and twp 2 MP cameras for Macro Snapping and Depth Sensing.

The Pro version sports a 20 MP ultra-wide camera alongside 2 Telephoto lenses :

8MP with 10x hybrid zoom ( f/2.0, 1.0 micron pixel size)

12 MP with 2x optical zoom ( f/2.0, 1.4-micron pixel size) for portrait shots.


The super attractive, sleek, and impressive design of the mi 10 and mi 10 pro comes in the following dimensions: 162.6 mm * 74.8 mm* 8.9 mm and weighs 208 gm.  Further, it comes with Corning Gorilla Glass 5.


The AnTuTu benchmark is believed to be 547,117, which is great.

Launch Date

While we still await the release in India and Europe, the estimated price will be between Rs. 40,000 to 50,000.

Mr. Manu Kumar Jain has said that they will launch the Mi 10 series in India and said it could be slightly expensive due to import costs as they can’t manufacture these devices in India.

Once unveiled, we shall update the actual price for the Mi 10 series.

5). Xiaomi Mi Mix 4 – 5G and 12 GB RAM Mobile

Xiaomi has launched the Mi Mix 3 in China and is one of the first phones to come with 5G support and 10 GB DDR4 Ram.

The company is planning to launch Mi Mix 4, which comes with under-display front cameras. It is one of the first mobiles in the world to offer this new tech.

The above-leaked image shows a slightly curved display with thin bezels for the upcoming Xiaomi mobile.

Notably, Mi Mix 4 can have a 6.6 Inches FHD+ 1080×2340, 19.5:9 aspect ratio display. The phone will also feature the Qualcomm Snapdragon 855 Plus CPU onboard along with 10/12GB RAM and up to 256GB inbuilt storage option.

6). Xiaomi Mi Max 3/Mi Max 3 Pro

Xiaomi Mi Max 2 is a mammoth phone. And the new Mi Max 3 is no different. The Mi Max 3 was launched in China a couple of weeks back and had a massive display and battery capacity.

The phone comes with a dual-camera rear setup that looks very similar to the Xiaomi Redmi Note 5 Pro and has a similar configuration (12+5) MP lenses. At the front, there is a more humble 8-megapixel camera that comes with

The Mi Max 3 will likely come with an enormous 6.9-inch Full HD+ (2160 x 1080) IPS LCD screen along with a modern 18:9 aspect ratio. It doesn’t have a notch like most phones launching in recent weeks.

Apparently, Xiaomi may launch another variant – Mi Max 3 Pro – after the launch of Mi Max 3. This is about the posts that made rounds on the Chinese social networking website, Weibo.

Interestingly, the Mi Max 3 came with the tried and tested Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 Octa-Core processor with Adreno 509 GPU. Additionally, the mobile has a massive 5500 mAh battery. It is not clear, but rumors suggest that the PRO variant can come with the Snapdragon 670 or the 710 processor.

The phone comes with 4 GB Ram and is available in 64 GB storage versions.

7). Xiaomi Mi A4

Xiaomi Mi A3 is now a few months old, and Xiaomi is planning to launch the successor to the Mi A3 in the coming months. As per sources, Xiaomi can refresh it in July 2020.

The Mi A4 will come with the stock Android OS and have the latest version Android 10 Q, upgrading Android 11. The key highlight for the Mi A series of devices has been stock Android and superior cameras.

The Mi A4 will have a 64 MP Primary rear camera, a 12 MP telephoto lens, and a 12 MP ultra-wide camera.

Further, the phone will come with a 16 MP front selfie camera present inside the waterdrop notch.

Powering the Mi A4 is the latest Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G Octa-Core processor that the company has recently launched. It is going to be one of the first mobiles to get the latest chipset from Qualcomm.

The Qualcomm Snapdragon 720G is manufactured using an 8 Nm process and a 2.3 GHz maximum clock speed. The energy-efficient processor will offer good battery life and also has a fast Adreno 618 GPU.

Further, the phone will come with 4 GB and 6 GB ram variants with 64/128 GB storage.

Furthermore, the phone will come with a 4000 mAH capacity battery and feature 18 Watts charging speed.

The most glaring flaw with the Mi A3 was the lack of a Full HD+ display that made it unpopular. Xiaomi is likely to learn from the mistake and bundle with a Full HD+ display (it is not clear if they will opt for an LCD or an AMOLED panel.

Similar to the Mi A3, the Mi A4 will come with an in-display fingerprint scanner and will also have Corning Gorilla Glass 5 protection.
