Concluding Thoughts

Before the Ryzen was released, AMD’s competitor – Intel – kept growing and knocked out AMD in benchmark scores of single-core and multi-core CPU performances.

With the release of Ryzen CPUs, the market share of AMD has increased significantly.

Ryzen’s CPU with new Zen microarchitecture churned better and stronger multi-threaded performance compared to the same level of Intel CPUs.

Intel still has the monopoly in the consumer market, and enjoy over 90% of share. Although Intel remains the first choice for users, AMD Ryzen comes out as a new option for prospective buyers, who want to have a change from their Intel mindset.

The laptops mentioned above, come with Ryzen processors, and are comparable to their Intel counterparts, in terms of gaming and day-to-day performance alike.
